The Greyt Greyhound Feast Demo Thanks

Your Excellencies, Thanks to your support -
THE GREYT GREYHOUND FEAST WAS A G-R-E-A-T SUCCESS!!
We had outstanding musicians, dancers, and food, a tremendous Silent Auction & Raffle, participation by Greyhound Owners, Lovers of Greyhounds and most important, members of the Barony March of MonsTonitrus, and other representatives of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), as our special guests.

Every year hundreds of young and healthy purebred Greyhounds are in need of adoption after their time on the track is through. Calm, gentle and eager to please, these graceful pets are quite comfortable giving up life in the fast lane. The Greyhound Adoption League is dedicated to the rescue and adoption of these beautiful animals. The league also provides educational programs to local schools and groups about the Greyhounds, their history, Greyhound racing and the rescue and adoption program. The proceeds from this event will guarantee the continued operation of this program.

Plans are already underway for our Second Annual Greyt Greyhound Feast. Again, thanks for your support.

War Kitchen

An army travels on its stomach, and our valiant fighters are no exception. As Estrella War approaches, I have been pondering the possibility of running a kitchen. Under Siege was so much fun, and no one, complained about the food (at least not to me!) that I think another kitchen is very do-able for the war. HOWEVER, I will need dedicated help this time, as the event is longer, and more involved. Dedicated means scheduled cook and cleanup help, WITHOUT EXCEPTION (at the last war an UNPAID, NON-REGISTERED person did more dishes than anyone else...)  So, dear populace, IF you would like the convenience of a kitchen, I need help:  people willing to help cook and clean, and paid reservations before the event.

Thank you,
Camp Cook the Nameless
