I was born in the Year of Our Lord 1470, in Ireland. I seldom wear Irish dresses, however. My father was an Ambassador, and often brought new fashions from afar to me. As he is seldom home and I am his only offspring, I have learned to lead our men in defense of our family home as necessary.
To that end, I have taken lessons in the Art of War and in Rapier. My mother gave in to these lessons reluctantly and only finally consented given my agreement to learn more womanly arts as well, such as weaving, lacemaking, and embroidery.
