The river genie is a popular Hausa game play in the moonlight in Hausa towns by children. The idea behind the game is the strong Hausa belief in the supernatural lives. The river genie in the game is seen as a very good mathematician who tests human on their mathematics skills. If their mathematics capabilities are superb he instantly give them gift.

The test by the river genie is the theme of the game.

We designed such game to be played in computer. The game can be played by maximum of five players. And the CPU will now act as the river genie who will test players.

The test is all about finding the side of the river with treasure of the water (i.e. coral e.t.c.). the river genie will show 16 spots with river and pond in between each four spots. All together there having sixteen spots with treasures and eight river and pond spots.

He will point to a spot and asks the player whether there is a treasure there or not. If the player guesses correctly he earns that treasure, if he fails the next player will have his turn.

A player is expected to keep into his memory locations of river and pond spots likewise empty spots whose treasure has been won, so as to make a correct guess.

The computer version of this game will give you the same pleasure the real game will give to you.

Thanks.
