Ons leven (part five)
"Daddy, what's it like to go on a ship?" Trinity asked as she walked with her father through the harbor gift shops buying some last minute supplies. "You said we were going to spend about a week on this ship. But shouldn't we be buying some milk, and bread, and cake, and pillows, and..."
Duo picked up his daughter, and couldn't help but laugh at her worried little face. He kissed her softly on the lips, silencing her ranting. "Don't worry Trin, they have a lot of shops on the boat for those things. Think of it as a large moving hotel. Besides I'm already buying us some instant coffee, and bathroom supplies."
"But if it's a hotel, won't they have bathroom supplies?"
Duo smiled. "Since when did you get so smart? Well, I want to make sure I get some things in case they don't have what I need on the boat." Trinity looked at what her father had put on the counter to pay. "Daddy, what's that say?" She pointed to the box he had put on the counter. "Uuuum...that says Trojan man sweety."
"What is it for?"

Duo almost dropped the bag with his supplies, as he approached the area where he left Heero with their luggage. Surrounding the ever stern-faced man, were about six women. They seemed to be telling him their plans for this trip, but Heero looked more annoyed than interested.
As he approached the crowd, Heero immediately got up and walked towards him and Trinity. "Heero, I feel a little out of place here. All these people are dressed in suits and all. I thought we were going on a vacation cruise. Is this the way you guys always dress?" Duo shot his husband a worried look. He was wearing nothing more than a black shirt over navy jeans. He looked good, but these people were dressed as formally as they come.
Heero walked Duo towards Zechs and Treize. "I'd like to introduce Duo Yuy. You have met my daughter, and that is Belldandy." He said in a low voice. The two men smiled at Duo and Belldandy, who was now holding a frantically talking Trinity. They immediately dismissed them as Heero's friends.
"Ooooh....so I guess you're excuse is going to be that your wife is sea sick." That voice, Heero almost flinched as he recognized it. Duo could tell by his husband's sudden tenseness that this was the woman known as Relena. "Hello Ma~am!" He said as he bent down to kiss her hand. "May I make the safe assumption that you are the wonderful, Relena Peacecraft?"
After a moment, Relena finally acknowledged the strange man standing there kissing her hand. She quickly pulled her hand away as the realization of exactly what Duo was doing hit her. "Because you know Heero, I will excuse this act. But may I warn you that I will not tolerate such an obscure behavior from one of Heero's butlers again."
Duo narrowed his eyes at her rather rude reply. "Heero's what?!?" He exclaimed. He had to be careful. His pregnancy was causing him to be sensitive to emotions. She turned her eyes away from Heero and looked at him sharply. "Do not make me repeat myself Mr. Yuy."
Duo could only watch as the woman clomped onto his husband, and walk away before he could reply. He sighed. "This will be a long vacation."
As Duo turned around to greet Belldandy, he saw that he too received a fair amount of looks from the ladies. He merely winked, and greeted them with a smile. One girl in particular turned a crimson shade of red as he smiled towards her. Her eyes seemed to shimmer. He approached her where she was standing with Belldandy and Trinity. "Well, hello! And may I ask who you are?"
The girl was silent, frozen by the unexpected gesture. Finally, Belldandy broke the silence after what seemed like an eternity. "This is Hilde." That seemed to have snapped her out of her trance, and she blushed vigorously. "I'm sorry. My name is Hilde."
Duo smiled. "So I heard." He took her hand and placed a gentle kiss onto it. Belldandy just shot Hilde a sad look. But the other was too drowned in those violet eyes to notice. "Poor thing." She thought. "She is struck with love at first sight, but with the wrong man."
