| Back to part 3 Ons Leven (part 4) "God....can't you drive a little faster?!" The woman was complaining to the half deaf taxi driver. "I'm gonna miss the boat!! You said it would only be thirty minutes to the harbor!" The man merely snorted, and resumed his thirty miles per hour drive on a forty-five limit speed road. The young woman sat back frustrated. Suddenly a thought hit her and she sat up again looking through her purse. "I'll give you an extra two dollars for each minute you can spare." The seemingly deaf man, looked up and shot her a sharp look through his rear-view-mirror. With a sudden pang he hit the gas sending the woman flying backwards. "I knew I could talk some sense into you." She said smiling. "Where's Maxwell?" "I don't know sir. But I think your announcement was to wait inside. Besides, I don't think he would wait out here anyway. He's got the little lady and his daughter with him." "He said he'd bring an extra adult friend of the child. And as for his woman, I hope she not the fragile kind." "Treize! I thought you were going to meet us inside?" The man turned around and saw his partner walking towards him with his frantically searching sister. He knew the question she would ask before they even got close enough to greet. "Where's Heero?" Zechs looked around, and was surprised not to see Heero around. "I'm surprised. I thought he'd be the first one here. But I thought you said that we were meeting inside?" Treize sighed, "Never mind that. It seems like were all here. Horiz do you have the list?" "Yes sir. The only ones that are not here are Heero, his party of three, and Hilde." "I'm here!!!" All turned around and sweatdropped. Hilde was carrying two obviously heavy suitcases and it looked like she'd just gotten up. She sighed heavily as she finally approached her bosses. "I made it! It cost me about twenty extra dollars, but I made it!" They waited for her to hand the suitcases to the waiting bus boy. They watched as the boy was pitifully trying to haul the suitcases onto the cart. A loud chattering, surpassing the noise of the traffic, was heard at the other entrance. The cause of this commotion was the famous metropolitan dance theater who was going to entertain the ship. "How exciting!" Hilde thought as she walked through the door, and abruptly bumped into someone. "Excuse me." She mumbled as she saw that her little commotion had caused all the woman's papers to fall. "That's aright, I wasn't looking either. I'm sorry." Hilde looked at the woman she had run into. Long brown hair was tied back into a ponytail. The woman's face was soft like that of an angel. She knew she'd seen this woman before. "Have we met?" She said as she helped the woman pick up all her papers. "I don't believe so." The woman narrowed her gentle blue eyes. "Wait. Do you work with Mr. Maxwell, Heero Maxwell? My name is Belldandy." Hilde had to laugh, that's where she knew her from. She was the personal doctor of Heero's wife, and had often come to work with his daughter. "Of course, I'm Hilde. Let's hurry before the boat leaves us." The two women laughed as they walked towards the check-in counter. >>>>>>>>>>>>end part four<<<<<<<<<<<<< Onto part 5 Back Home Send all comments to: [email protected] |
