Guyana has produced some of the best trained nurses through our four nursing scools. In later years, many specialist programmes came on stream. These included the Public Health Nurses programme, Paedeatrics, Nurse Anaesthesist, Psychiatry, Health Sciences Tutors, Health Services Management and Midwifery programme.
