| PAXO worked along the lower ridge, below the field. Stinger was there, but PAXO spotted him 5m away and opened fire. "HIT!" MANTIS dashed from cover, grabbing the envelope from the Marshal. 2 Points Scored, for completing the TASK. Again taking cover, CHARLIE regrouped and radioed the situation to Papabear. Mantis informed him, they were heading back to camp. They set off, moving fairly quickly with PAXO on point. |

| Dodger and Stinger had rejoined the game and moved west from the gorse area. Meeting up with the UE recce team, they noticed movement and got down. PAXO was coming uphill, quickly, from cover to cover. ALPHA waited. Once PAXO was 10m away, the ambush was sprung. PAXO was hit instantly, with G.I.JOE 10m behind him, was soon Tagged too. MANTIS exchanged a few rounds with ALPHA. Everyone went to ground and silence followed. |
| The TASK was completed and 3 points scored for CHARLIE. Now the OP team, switched their optics towards the ALPHA camp. Via the radio, PapaBear suggested an attack. MANTIS and G.I.Joe were leaving the game in 30 minutes, so offered to defend the camp, while PAXO and PHANTOM could join the sortie. A plan was set; Paxo and Phantom would be a diversion from below. |

| Reaching the treeline, they changed course and set out uphill to approach CHARLIE Camp from above. Meanwhile the UE recce team had moved into this area and spotted a flag in Bear's Bunker. However, this was not CHARLIE's flag, it was actually a SPEEDBALL flag. Thinking they had found CHARLIE, they radioed HQ. |
| MANTIS radioed for help, so PAPABEAR and G-MAN set off quickly from CHARLIE camp to move in from the TRENCHES. Only Phantom would remain to guard the flag. While scanning the oppersite treeline, the Marshal contacted him, offering 2 TASKS. RECCE or FIELDCRAFT. Accepting Recce, Phantom guessed the co-ordinates of the ALPHA flag from his earlier recon. Accurate to 10m, he scored 3 points straight away. ALPHA pulled out of their position and set off back to their camp, happy with their ambush result. CHARLIE regrouped and returned to camp too. Wasting no time, they asked for another TASK. Fieldcraft was accepted and involved setting up an OP in the eastern fern fields. |

CHOPPER and 2 of the UE teammates stepped up for the TASK. They wanted to clarify if Bear's Bunker was indeed the CHARLIE flag's location. So headed off over the high ground towards the plateau. G-MAN and PapaBear reached the fernfields and crawled all the way to the top fencline. Moving along the boundary, they moved under a low tree. The overhanging canopy gave them excellent cover, while they still had good LOS into the required area. They radioed the Marshal with the co-ordinates of their OP. Soon a Marshal arrived and moved into the stated Grid, before asking Charlie's OP "What can you see?" "A Marshal scratching his head!" replied PapaBear. |
