Punjab School Education Board introduced computers as an optional subject for Class 6th to Class 10th from the academic year 2001-2002. In the endeavour to educate the students on computers the need was felt by NOVA publications to publish books for Punjab School Education Board, which resulted in my authoring the books "COMPUTERS OUR FUTURE". The course contents were then again upgraded keeping in mind different types of students which resulted in the second and revised edition in 2002.

Course Contents: Concepts, Hardware, Software, DOS, Windows 98, Logo, Basic, Word 97, Excel 97, PowerPoint 97, Access 97

The 2001 and 2002 editions have completely revamped syllabus as the syllabus was changed by Punjab School Education Board.
