All our hotels offer a fine dining experience. Our heritgae food and heritage brew is winning hearts. Amar Singh Ji, famous for writing the world's longest continous diaries, brought out a series of notes on recipes, interestingly even specifying the type of metal utensils for cooking particular dishes. Revival of ancient royal cuisine or "thikana" recipes is an added attraction. The special royal thalis served at Narain Niwas and Royal Castle Kanota are a treat to the soul. Mouth watering Special Menu is served. Recipes served are original recipes collected by Amar Singh during his life time. Most recipes will not be found anywhere else. There are made in complete supervision of the family members - all culminating in a once-in-a-lifetime experience for each of our guests. You can savour specialities ranging from delicious traditional Rajasthani cuisine consisting of delicacies like dal bati and churma. Since 1863 the family of Kanota takes pride in continuing the centuries old tradition of following the original secret recipe in the same traditional way:
Chandrahaas, the heritage brew is a blend of natural ingredients of 80 herbs, spices and dry fruits. Distilled and matured in wooden casts which are exotic and stimulative in nature.
Rajasthani, Mughalai or Continental food is served in the New Chaukiya Mahal (the palace of nine squares) overlooking the Banas in Rajmahal Palace. For the more romantically oriented torchit dinners on boats with local musicians can be arranged. Riverside lunches and picinics can be arranged on request. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace while watching the sunrise over the Banas river flowing through the hills or in the riverside garden.
