Josephine Alfonso Annual Art Exhibit
Our 2009 exhibit will be held
at Prime Outlets Mall in Suite 350.
Dates:
Opening Reception - September 4, 2009
Exhibit Open - September 5 - 19, 2009
10:00 - 6:00 Daily; 12 - 4 Sunday
5:00 - 8:00 for Purchase Award Selections
(Each purchase award sponsor will have from 5:00 - 6:00 PM to
select their art before the general public arrives)
Public Reception - 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Artists must be in good standing
and attend at least four meetings
prior to the exhibit in order to exhibit.
Artists may enter three pieces and up to one more if they
obtain a purchase award sponsor prior to art delivery date.
All pieces must be framed and
wired (no saw-tooth hangers are allowed).
Works on canvas gallery wrap may be shown only if sides are painted
and canvas is 1 1/2 " with no staples showing.
Artists
may bring five matted, unframe pieces to go in browse bins
which will be placed in the exhibit after the opening reception.
All exhibiting artists are required to sit two four-hour shifts at the exhibit.
Juror is not announced until
the reception.
Our annual fall exhibit is named after one of our most
prominent members,
Josephine Alphonso, an outstanding and prominent Gulf Coast artist who served
in the associaiton for many years before her death.
It is open to all members who have attended four monthly meetings prior
to the exhibit during the current year.
