Song Writing and Recording
At the age of 16 I purchased my first guitar.  An electric, generic Silvertone.  I taught myself to play.  I graduated to a Guild when I was 26 and still use that same guitar today, over 20 years.

I have also been blessed with a singing voice and ear for harmony  and have been asked, many times, to sing for others and play at events.
On September 11, 2001 a terrible tragedy happened to the United States and that event lead me to write a song, Valor and Villains, which I received a Presidential Citation for.  But, because I did not have the proper recording properties at home I was forced to use a studio in Cleveland, to transfer my song from tape to CD, that cost me $35/half hour.  An outrageuos amount for a short amount of time and a beautiful tribute..  In 2004 I wrote a song called "Angels of Mercy."  Since then, I have performed the song many times at special events for the hospital I work for.

Recently a church in Olympia, Washington "adopted" my video and song "Friendship" for their adopted company of soldiers in the middle east and I recently won Paramount Group's, Nashville Internal Song & Lyric Writing Competition's "Director's Award" for a song a wrote to my wife, called "Valentine."

I have been able to get a computer-based studio program and have set up an in-home "type" studio.  Because there are so many musically talented people in the Siouxland area, I am offering my expertise and equipment to help others record their musical dreams at a fraction of the cost.
