The meeting
....and these are the dancers!
And the public loved us!!!
The meeting started with a dance performance, these are the musicians...
Y claro, a nosotros tambin.
Here I am again...
The meeting with the comunity leaders. I am sitting on the right to translate between Spanish and English, as well as between the American culture and Quechua culture.
The man with the blue baseball cap is the community's president.
Tammy and Chie, paying attention.
The meeting

The meeting with the community leadership was actually really interesting. The contradictions with what the miners had told us, with what we were hearing from the communites now, were huge. This of course, made that the trip of the students proved to be worth making it. There is still a lot to do in the area of Corporate Social Responsability of Peruvian companies.
