The Catch Me Interviews

RICHARD NORTON

1) Sir,You started as a bodyguard for Rolling Stones,Fleetwood Mac and Abba-Any funny stories ?
Wow, I don't even know where to start with this one. I had so many great and wonderful times on tour with some of the legends of Rock and Roll. Okay, one funny time I remember was when I was on the road with the legendary Joe Cocker back in the 70's. One night my partner Bob Jones and I, decided to take Joe and some of the band out for the night in Sydney. So, after some bar hopping, we ended up in a bar that had a drag queen show, as you do when you are bored and looking for a different night on the town. Right? Hah! Anyway, the whole night ended up with a whole bunch of people in Joe's suite for a late night drink. Joe was pretty drunk by now and as the night moved on, I noticed him on the floor in a deep and meaningful conversation with a really beautiful blonde. All was going well until I see Joe starting to nibble on the girls neck and get pretty flirty. I decided it was time to lean in and whisper in Joe's ear that the 'blonde' he was with was in fact a guy. Well, to that, Joe loudly protested Nooo!. So, back to his flirting behavior he went, until finally, in the middle of a pretty passionate embrace, this 'Blonde' suddenly, in a voice deeper than mine, says,"You know Joe, I really am a man". Well, you think you have seen Joe fidget with himself on stage whilst singing a song, that was nothing to the astonishment and shock on Joe's face at the realization of the situation he had gotten himself in. Bob and I were on the floor in stitches, laughing our butts off. Of course, we took it on ourselves to remind Joe on a daily basis for the rest of the tour of his little 'adventure. Another funny time was whilst on tour with The Rolling Stones back in 1973. The Stones tour manager, Peter Rudge, got into a little practical joke war with our aussie tour manager and after a while it got to be serious business. So serious that the aussie's actually went as far as to get into Peter Rudge's hotel suite and open every drawer and closet. They then acquired over 300 pigeons which were let loose in Peter's hotel room. Well, you can imagine what the room was like when the Stones tour manager finally got back to his room that night. Everything thing he owned from his clothes to personal possessions was covered in pigeon shit. I mean everything. Too funny.

2) Seems you worked with Cynthia Rothrock, Chuck Norris and Jackie Chan the most; Can you describe each in one sentence ?
Cynthia and I were once described in an English magazine as 'The Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire of Martial Arts movies', and I think that aptly describes the wonderful relationship that Cynthia and I had whilst working together all those years. Chuck Norris is the type of loyal and principled person that only comes along but rarely in one's lifetime and I feel fortunate to call have him as a dear and respected friend. Jackie Chan to me is the absolute true Maestro of martial arts and action movies.

3) You are probably the most articulate of Martial Artist,Will you or have you written a film or directed one ?
No, I haven't written or plan to write a movie script anytime soon. I think script writing is a real art and should be left to those who have a real passion in that area. I mean I do know a good script when I read one and feel more than capable of suggesting modifications to the way a scene or character is written. But that's about the extent of it for me. Now Directing is another story. I feel I will definitely direct something in the not too distant future as that is something I could handle. I have done a considerable amount of 2nd Unit directing and must say I really enjoyed the process very much. I think I have waited this long because, as with writing, I feel Directing also takes a considerable amount of knowledge and talent that is all to often, taken too lightly. I can't tell you how many sets I have been on where you have a young Director who is technically proficient, but has absolutely no clue as to performance. It is one thing to know a bit about lighting and where to place a camera, but to really understand the actors craft and how to help with choices in a scene and make a scene 'work', now that takes a different type of skill. If people could realisethe amount of study and time some of the great actors put into their study of character breakdown etc, they would better appreciate the skill level necessary for a Director to be able to fulfill his task of being the 'conductor' of the movie process, capable of bringing so many aspects of film making into the kind of harmony that makes for a great movie experience. I feel that having spent so many years now on movie sets has at least given me the basic skills necessary to give directing the 'right' movie a shot. We will see.

4) Any major injuries or accidents happen to you ?
You know, I feel I have been incredibly lucky in that respect and have yet to sustain anything serious. I of course have had my share of knocks and bruises. I had my nose broken whilst shooting Mr.. Nice Guy with Jackie Chan. Oh yes, I also got hit in the head by a sword wielding 'friend' Cynthia, whilst shooting an action movie in Hong Kong. That was mainly because of the ridiculous hours you spend daily on set in Hong Kong movies. We had been shooting fight stuff for over 17 hours one night and Cynthia and I were getting pretty tired. I was supposed to duck and thought I was and she thought she was accurate with the sword but none the less, I copped it above the eye. The producer took me to hospital where I was given 8 stitches without any anesthetic, as they didn't want my eye to swell up. Then it was back on the set within half an hour with my head turned away from camera and on with the fight. Hey, I've always said, it's not table tennis. Doing these kinds of movies always leaves you open to the possibility of some chance of injury. Wouldn't trade it for the world though.

5) Cynthia Rothrock, Has a new comicbook,Will you be making a drawn appearance in its pages ?
Well, now this is the first I've heard about a new comic book. You see, all this talk about my dear friend Cynthia and I haven't even received the courtesy phone call about my character. That's it then, we're through.

6) You fight choreographed THE CONDEMNED with Stone Cold Steve Austin & Vinnie Jones. Are wrestlers in the spot of martial artists as action stars ? Any gossip on set ?
I don't think that wrestlers are so much in the spot of martial artists as much as just another good pool of talent suitable for those types of movies. So many of the WWE stars for instance are such big, well built and physically talented guys with an already built in huge fan base. I mean you know that an entrepreneur the caliber of Vince McMahon readily recognizes the money making star quality of some of his stars like Stone Cold Steve Austin. Look at the huge numbers the WWE super shows generate both live and on PPV television and to not take advantage of the huge exposure their stars have and give them a crack at the silver screen would not be in any way logical in a business sense. I should say that the pre buzz on Steve's performance in 'The Condemned' is really good. The movie has a theatrical release date of April 27th and by reports so far it has turned out to be terrific. I mean we know that there will be a certain amount of great action and fight scenes, because I choreographed them,c'mon, just kidding. But the main excitement comes from the fact that there is a great story to go along with the action. Hey, go figure, some great drama in an action flic. I had a great time during the shooting of The Condemned. Vinnie Jones, from 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' and ''Snatch co stars and was a hoot to work with. He is a non stop practical joker and just one of the 'lads'. By the way, that explains my new short hair do as I ended up as Fight Double for Vinnie. Anyway, one day he heard that Steve was going to sleep overnight in his on set trailer because we were out on location and it saved a considerable trip back to the hotel. Well, Vinnie waited for the opportune moment and snuck into Steve's bus and took nearly an hour covering the opening of Steve's toilet with glad wrap. I mean he told me he was meticulous in getting rid of every wrinkle in the glad wrap so that it made it all but invisible. So that night, Steve has apparently gone to take a piss and ended up peeing all over his pants and feet. Steve was hilarious when he was telling us,"I was suddenly getting drowned in my own piss and thinking, 'what the F**k, I'm aiming dead center in the bowl. Of course from then on it was war. Everybody was totally on alert to watch their backs.(and their feet.) Again, I really believe this is going to be a great action movie, so keep an eye out for it when it is released in April.

7) Why do you think you have played so many villains ,like in ROAD HOUSE 2 ?
Hey, I'm always asked that and yet I've played a lot of good guys. How about Rage and Honor 1&2 and China O'Brien and Under the Gun? Okay, so I have also played more than my share of 'baddie's'. I'm not sure why but I certainly don't mind. Playing the bad guy can be so much more fun as if you are the hero, you have to be so careful that every thing you do is liked by the audience, whereas you can do almost anything as the 'baddie', and as long as the audience hate your guts at the end of the movie you have done your job. Of course in Hong Kong movies, the 'gweilo', or western actor, is more than often the baddie as of course they want to see you beaten up by the Asian good guy. I must admit though that I have always said that the downside of being the villain in these flics is that you usually get beaten up or killed and you never, ever get the gorgeous heroine. Oh well, as long as they pay me, right?

8) You have a slogan like most action stars,After hitting the hero ; You quip " PAINFUL "So,Where are the t-shirts and bumper stickers, etc?
Hey, don't laugh. I mentioned your idea to a friend of mine who is pushing me to get some merchandise out there and he really liked the idea. This could be our ticket out of here, what do you think? Hah!

9) Do you have a flashy move,For example: Jean-Claude Van Damme with his leg splits/Chuck Norris and his kicks/Steven Seagal with that arm twisting thing ?

I don't feel I have any one flashy signature move. I do know I have fast hands and probably like quick and realistic hand combinations. I also feel my moves tend towards being a bit more 'realistic' than some as the one thing I do know from my experience as a bouncer and personal body-guard is that real street fights are anything but clean and pretty so I like putting a kind of untidiness into my choreography when given the chance. You know, make it look gutsy and real. This is why I particularly enjoyed the action in the latest James Bond movie. I know it is still over the top because it is still a movie afterall, but the fights had a great roughness and raw quality to them that I felt really worked. I must say I am so over the 'wire' work seen in so many fight movies of late. I just want it to get back to people that are great at what they do just keeping their feet on the ground and displaying really good practical and powerful moves that I feel would be to some extent believable in the real world. Think of the way they shot Bruce Lee in the classic, 'Enter the Dragon'.

10) HERE,Is your chance. What do you want to leave with your fans,Some nugget of truth,or what ?
You know, I started my Martial Arts training at age 11 and honestly just wanted to be the best Martial Artist I could be. Now everything great that has happened in my life, including working on wonderful locations with terrific actors in so many countries in the world and touring with so many of the legends of Rock and Roll in their time, has just come as a result of having a passion for my martial arts endeavors and pursuing that dream. I wouldn't honestly trade my past experiences in life with anyone and that says something about passion. So I simply implore those of you who feel that their lives are full of drudgery or whatever to just find something to be truly passionate about. Something that makes you excited about getting up out of bed each morning and counter balance the aspects in your life associated with the struggle of 'just making a living'. But do it now. Don't wait, as one thing I know for sure is that we are here for a good time, not a long time. One little thing I would like to finish with is to suggest to your readers to get a copy of the DVD, 'The Secret'. I honestly believe the thoughts in this little doco can be literally life changing.

Thanks for the opportunity to do this little interview Chris and I wish all your readers the very best in whatever they choose to accomplish.
Warmest wishes,
Richard Norton.

1) IMDB says you made 122 films,Is that right ?
A) I have made about 135 films, the IMDb.com is a very good resource but not perfect!

2) We are together because of ALL WRAPPED UP promotion, Does Hocus Focus do something that you like ?
A) I consider Jason and Nancy very good friends of mine and we are on the same page when it comes to comedy. I love Jason's sense of humor and we all share a HUGE love for animals specifically our pet dogs so I think all of these elements helped us bond very well. I love working with Hocus Pocus! Jason has a terrific fun way of approaching the work and I feel really great when I work with him. I highly recommend it!

3) Do you still discuss your injury ?
Name names ?
A) I discuss it some. I had my four fingers on my right hand severed almost completely off while shooting a scene for a movie. I don't name names as it doesn't make sense nor does it turn the hands of time back to make the injury disappear. It was negligence on the set and I will always be handicapped because of it. Sometimes I have bad arthritic pain because of the injury. This winter seems to be especially bad. The lesson to learn from this to any filmmakers out there is that you have to run a professional set, get insurance and always have safety to everyone on your set as priority number one. Unless you're shooting JACKASS but then the people involved know what they're getting into!

4) One sentence each please FABULOUS STAINS,
TROMEO & JULIET,
DEAD CLOWNS,
ALL WRAPPED UP.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: THE FABULOUS STAINS! My first film and it still serves as an inspiration for me.

TROMEO AND JULIET My first Troma film and I loved every minute of it!

DEAD CLOWNS Great experience and my only role to date where my entire time on screen is silent, I loved that challenge!

ALL WRAPPED UP Loved getting the opportunity to work with Jason again and LOVED wearing the space outfit that was a GAS!

5) The BEST of Debbie On/Offset?
A) I add creatively to everything I'm involved in. Whether it's work related or not. I love to be doing things I am passionate about. Hard work doesn't scare me. Not and never have been a diva.

6) The WORST of Debbie On/Off set?
A) Have a LOW tolerance for people who don't try. Who do things they don't care about. Step aside and let someone who wants to do it do it. I love people who give things their all, whether they're great at it or not it's all about HEART!

7) Ever tempted to go BLONDE?
A) I have had blond streaks a couple times in my life. I enjoyed it. But I got tired of seeing all the movies with the same hair... made it so that I couldn't disappear into various characters so I dyed it back.

8) TV or Film,Which is your favorite ?
Do you plan or directing or writing more?
A) I love watching films way more than TV. I would love to do either one. TV pays a crazy amount so that's pretty cool. I have worked in the low budget world for so long a huge increase in pay would not make me sad. ;) I hope to write and direct very soon as a matter of fact! No details yet though.

9) Money is important because?
A) It can give you creative freedom as long as you don't become a slave to it.

10) Anything you NEED to tell your fans?
A) I really need them to know that they're awesome. Everyone I have met has their own unique qualities and I appreciate all of them. Stay original. Stay unique. That's where love lives as well as creativity!

Thanks a million!!

JACKELINE OLIVIER http://jackelineolivier.com

Day of the Dead 2: Contagium/ Costa Chica: Confession of an Exorcist / WEREWOLF IN A WOMEN'S PRISON/ Boppin' at the Glue Factory / Slip/ Pax Importi Modellus/ The Dream of Alvareen/ SOCOM II: U.S. Navy Seals/ Christmas In Malibu/ Spy Kids 3: Game Over
Bio:
Jackeline Olivier is a graduate from Stella Adler Academy of Acting. A passionate pursuer of the dramatic and performing arts would describe Jackie. I love drama; dying, crying fight scenes. Let's go for it! I'm not afraid to go to those places. I love character work and I'll play anything- the professional, the innocent, the bitch, the druggie, and the femme fatale. Jackie leaves her ego behind to embrace broken and complex characters.
Originally from Porto Alegre , in the south of Brazil, Jackie gets cast as every ethnicity, not only the typical Latina . My look is VERY adaptable.
Jackie began early. At age ten, her teachers schoolmates and family encouraged her to pursue acting. That was it, my fate was decided!, laughs Jackie.
Now, 10 plays, 17 films and numerous TV appearances later, Jackie continues to live on the passionate edge of her art and continues to grow in its dimensions and depth.
Her Equity-waiver ensemble production of Pilgrims of the Night at the Stella Adler Theater won Jackie raves from LA Weekly.
It was a 'physically exhausting' role involving fourteen onstage 30-second wardrobe changes, 120 lighting cues, 70 sound cues and 30 video cues. She co-produced it and created her own wardrobe.
I love theater: the hard work, the effort. It takes months to build a production set, just to run for a couple weeks, but I LOVE that unique tingle of fear that comes only with live theater. I've done 8 plays in the last 2 years.
She's still training and she is a member of the Filmmaker's Alliance, The Creative Actors Alliance and the LA Filmmakers.
1) Day of the Dead 2, any Ana Clavell stories?
Not particularly, she's a talented woman, who has the ability to wear a lot of different hats in the entertainment industry.

2) Socom II & Spy Kids 3:Game Over, how weird to be a voice actor, did you like the experience?
I loved it; it's a challenge. It requires a little more of your imagination, because you have to create a world and interact with characters that are not there. Most of the time is just you and the microphone. With dubbing it is a little easier, you get to watch the scene once or twice, then record the voice.

3) Werewolf in a Women's Prison. A great role was it the most fun?
I had a great time on the set, the crew and cast were amazing. I had no idea that playing a 'sadistic lesbian prison guard' would be that much fun. I really enjoy torturing and whipping the female prisoners.
Who would've thought, considering that everybody thinks that I'm a goooood girl. I had to do an extensive background work for this character. (joke)

4)On/Off set, What do co-workers deem the BEST of Jackeline?
They think I'm very professional, passionate, committed, organized, that I pay attention to little details, and that I care.

5) " On/Off " the set, what's the WORST of Jackeline?
Well, I guess because I care too much, sometimes I become anal and demanding. Not everybody's heart beat at the same pace. They usually say 'RELAX JACKIE', and that for me is almost impossible, considering that I'm very energetic and a little hyper sometimes.

6) Noticed you've worked in various countries, Has this helped your career?
Living and working in different countries gave me experience and knowledge about different cultures. It helped me to understand HUMAN BEINGS a little more, is also helps me in creating different characters with different backgrounds. But when it comes to book the job, it won't make a difference whether you lived and worked in 20 countries or just in the US.

7) What came first modeling or acting, why switch? Or have you?
I always wanted to act, but living in small city in the south of Brazil, I didn't have a lot of opportunities to pursue my dreams. So I started out doing a little modeling, then I moved to the BIG CITY and worked my way up to do what I love the most.

8) One word descriptions---
a) David Heavener: knowledgeable,
b) Jeff Leroy: industrious,
c) Carmen Electra: smart

9) Dancing is part of you, do you like ALL the Dancing Shows on TV?
Dance has been part of my life for a long time. I don't have much time to watch TV, but 'Dancing with the Stars' is one show that I enjoy watching.

10) Well, Here is your chance-Give us "The World According to Jackeline" speech?
My perfect world would be filled with love, peace, healthcare and food for everybody. But in this not so-perfect world we live in, I do my best by being fair, honest and good to people. It goes with that famous expression "YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU GIVE". I think you should never give up your hopes and dreams, enjoy your life and make every minute count. Life is too short and too precious to be wasted.

1) Sorry,To start off on a downer...Edward Albert just passed and you made STAGE GHOST with him,any comments about him or Horror/Westerns as a genre ?
(Edward Albert Jr. will be missed dearly by all who new him and even those who will never meet him but he will live on in all his films and wonderful stories he told. In William Richert's The Man In The Iron Mask He did the Sword fighting all on his own, unbelievable talent, and as far as Western Horror Film's, anything to do with Western's I'm in, being a Kansas cowboy I did get to have a guick draw against Jeff Bridges In Wild Bill .)

2) Favorite character you've played?
( I would have to say Dartagnan In The Man In The Iron Mask, playing a good guy was a good change.)

3) Why does Chris Watson(c) call you "Slim" ?
(Slim is a Character that I play in his new film(DEAD IN LOVE,Ed.), Slim is an alcoholic lounge singer, looks like it's going to be a very funny Film, and Chris is a great guy and director/film maker, also from Kansas.)

4) Do you do alot of your own stunts?
( I have done some of my own stunts, In Die Hard they put all 16 or 17 shots to the head in the DVD 2 pack, they had trouble with the guy shooting the blow gun, he had shell sock from the Vietnam war and when Bruce Willis would shoot me with the blank gun the noise would make him jump and he would hit me all over my face with that wax ball with the red blood in it, so we shot it till they couldn't take seeing me suffer, and then a week later another guy tried it took 5 or 6 times till they got there perfect, shot. I would rather the Stunt Guys to do all the crazy ones; I did go off that cliff backwards in Stage Ghost. talk about having trust in my Stunt Coordinator.)

5) We know you produce some flicks,Ever wanted to write or direct ?
( I have written a couple of Scripts, One about the Wheat Harvest, when I was in high school on my summers off I would go from Okalahoma to Canada cutting the Wheat like a simi modern cattle drive. And one about when I got drafted while trying to peruse my football scholarships, and yes, one day I hope to direct them)

6) So...played BULL POKER lately ?
(LOL well I'm not going to Play Bull Poker, that's for another kind of human that would do that, I being a farm boy no better than let a ragging bull run me over. My brother Bill and I filmed that at the county fair when we were home in Kansas for a family reunion pretty wild, funny Bill and I were attacked by a ragging cow while trying to separate a calf from a cow while trying to give the sick calf some medication that was bad and it didn't have horns.)

7) What is the BEST of "Dennis" ?
(The Best of Dennis hasn't been on film, the best is my 15 year old Son, who I think the world of and who happens to .)

8) What is the WORST of "Dennis" ?
(Hopefully the worst is over, I grew up hard out there on the prairie, I was the fourth son out of five, everything we ate we grew, raised, or hunted, no inside bathroom all the heat in the winter we had to chop wood all winter to survive the extreme cold , my Dad had a serious alcohol problem from his shell shock from WW 2 and we were out in the middle of no where, so he was the Law , so I had lots of fights with my brothers and Dad would slip back in the War and try to carve us up with the butcher knife. Hell I graduated in a little country school we used to walk to with 4 kids in my class. Hell I signed up for football to take showers when they bussed us to town. I quit drinking and hell raising about 22 years ago, its funny after couple of hundred bar room brawls mostly bullies picking on the good guys, and a lot more hangovers I decided to hang up that life, I used to bounce a red neck bar back home for a while, hopefully I have learned enough by now to only bring out the best.)

9) Not everybody is on a Mural ,What gives ?
( Well the short and the long of this is that The Artist the late Dan Collens had a art gallery in the same building that my agent was in and I came in one day with some photo's I just had my brother Ron take on the farm in Kansas when he saw them, he asked if he could use one on a mural that he was doing and I said sure not knowing how big and cool it would be to be up therewith all those famous people like James Dean, Vivian Lee, Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, Liz Taylor and Rock Hudson, even Abraham Lincoln, LOL, I bet people go who in the hell is that guy. Mural is at the Corner of Argyle and Franklin Hollywood CA .)

10) So,Now you can leave us with the ANSWER to All that is "Hayden" ?
(Well that would be to continue with all my hopes and dreams and make as many come true as I can while taken a ride on this spinning thrusting Rock we are all a part of, and always remember to laugh and have as much good fun as you can, and be kind to yourself the planet and all while doing it. Ps, by the way what's pissing me off today is that bully(RUSH LIMBAUGH,Ed.), picking on that good guy Michael J Fox.

ROBERT (BOB) MARQUISS

"One Of Our Most Unique Filmakers !"-Chris

-Starchaser/ -Night Hawk/ -When All Is Lost/ -Lucas Vampire Diary/ -Privateers

1) What do you call your style of filmmaking, Used best in Starchaser ?
For "Starchaser", I called it Story-Book style.

2) You have a awesome look,Why aren't you acting in other's projects ?
Actually, I have, but the films aren't known yet. I've done a detective series, one of my own, that is coming out now. I'll also be the main actor in 'All Is Lost', and I've been cast as the king in "Night Hawk", which is mainly being produced by Sphere Productions.

3) ALL this animation,Does it take long,What type of program or computer are you using ?
As an example, for "Starchaser" it took me over three and a half years to do that animation; that was working on it every day, from anywhere from ten to sixteen hours. The main program I use is Lightwave, but it took me learning twenty-three programs, actually, to pull the whole thing off. It took me three 2.80 ghz PC computers to do it.

4) Your first collaboration, Privateers, Had a great cast,Ever think of adding some name actors, besides yours?
Yes. That's actually in the works right now for the films I'm working on. I'll let you know who they are.

5) What is the BEST of "Bob" ?
A PSA I did for the City of Los Angeles (Public Service Announcement), which got submitted for an Emmy. I have a script called "Above The Moon" which I feel is my best work and hopefully will get it produced at some point.

6) What is the WORST of ' Robert '
Actually, when I first started, I had to shoot on l/2 inch, and did a piece called "Where's Earth", which is really funky, but the script is good.

7)I really liked Part 3 Of Starchaser,Was there really a 1 & 2 and will there really be a Part 4 ?
Actually, I kind of did this like Lucas did 'Star Wars' , I started in the middle. I have a bit done on Episode 4; it just takes time to fund some of these things. I'm looking forward to finishing it. I mainly did it as a kids series with the thought of nonviolence in making it.

8) Night Hawk really looks promising also,Any chance it will go beyond a trailer ?
Yes. We are working on that right now and acquiring some stars for it. It is an epic film.

9) Ever tried Amazon.com,Ebay or Netflix ?
No, I haven't. Netflix ,I haven't been able to reach the right person. Who knows, maybe they'll call me. I just keep getting their sales department. 10) Last chance,Any words to leave with us ?

Yes. I just had a very successful film festival, in Las Vegas. Everyone there was great, you know. I was really fortunate in meeting some really nice and exceptional people. I'm also very lucky to have a son that is working as an animator with me; his talents are very exceptional. It's been a lot of work to pull these kinds of films off. I just hope people enjoy them as much as I do creating them.

DEREK OSEDACH

Mini-Bio -- I came from the East, because I was sick of letting other people get all the attention.
That's basically my tale. I'm a middle child.

1) Which is better IN FRONT of camera,Or BEHIND it ?
After working in the trenches of low-budget production, it's hard for me to feel totally comfortable being just another actor on set - being that I know first-hand how difficult it can be to keep a production rolling smoothly, and how actors a lot of the time can have it easy. So far, I'd say it's been more fulfilling to work behind the scenes. For now, anyway. Really, my plan is to become a package deal - in front of the camera and behind, except with much more input.

2) Is Rebekah Kochan (Prior Intreview w/Us) stalking you ?
I would say no, but the fact is I feel her eyes on me as I write this. I'm a huge role model to her, really.

3) The character you play, Is it alittle YOU ?
I wouldn't even say that. It is, in a way, but I think acting is about putting your most interesting self into the role, to overpower the role even, because if you don't, and the next dude comes along and reads it the same way you just did...uh, you suck. In the end, though, I think the roles I've played are more the general consensus than the truth.

4) Halloween Night is your next appearance,THEN ?
Yeah, that has me in a larger role than I've done previously. It's me and my biggest fan, Kochan, playing opposite each other. It warmed my heart to work with her - she was on cloud nine the whole time. It was funny having the biggest role, for once. I had the most lines out of anyone on set, although I can only say for sure that I delivered one of them as written. If you watch Halloween Night try and locate the line. You can't miss it.

5) What is the BEST of Big "D" ?
Tony Bennet knows - although acting-wise I had fun with my roles in Dracula's Curse and Killer Calls, but I actually think my favorite role is as the degenerate father in Snakes. True, I had like three lines in that movie, but that was fun. I'd love to have done a whole movie in that character.

6) What is the WORST ?
Arrrgghh!!!

7) Pronounce your last name ?
Ose (long O)-Uh?-Dach (rhyming with Watch)

8) Which film was your most fulfilling ? Gossip on set ?
I think Dracula's Curse was most fulfilling because I acted in a decent-sized role, while at the same time line produced the thing, which I had not done before. If there were two of me I woulda slapped myself five when it was over. I don't know about gossip, but Halloween Night was a hell of a lot of fun off-camera. We'd call wrap at like 8 in the morning because we were shooting nights, and then go out and party until noon, while everyone else in the town were just getting up to go to work. Personally, I didn't care about getting too much sleep because for the first time I had absolutely zero responsibility as far as production was concerned. It was fun on-camera too, actually. We had this big halloween party scene, and we didn't have enough halloween costumes for all the extras, so we did some weird shit like cover a dude with toilet paper and call him The Mummy, and then the 2nd AC took one of the skeleton-with-joints paper halloween decoration off of the wall and taped it to his head, and then he was a Skeleton. I don't think I ever really stopped laughing from that one. Then the Production Manager took a paper plate and drew a weird-ass upside-down face on it and we all - myself included - took turns wearing it as extras in the background. And the freakin' thing ends up appearing throughout the final version of the movie a lot more than anyone could have hoped for! It's like in the ending shot, too. I don't know how much of this made it into the film -- probably very little -- but you do see the plate guy. And since so many different people played him, like in every other shot he varies tremendously in size. He's pretty ideal in the party scene.

9) Ever gonna write something ?
I've already written some things, and when I do them I know at least one actor already got a part. It's what I came out here to do.

10) Last Words Of Wisdom from Big "D" ?
Behind the camera: shit or get off the pot. Same thing for in front.
