| Guardians 'N Pets |
| While definitely not an integral part of the breeding herd, our goatie pets are members of the family. There are some goats that can just never be parted with at any cost, these goats become part of the "Pet Page" and get just about as spoiled rotten as any goat could possibly get! |
| There are some aspects of keeping a goat herd that a human just can not keep on top of- one of the most important is that of guarding the herd itself. I can not be out there 24/7, yet I don't want my precious goats becoming snacks for stray dogs or maurading coyotes. The answer? Simple, it's Livestock Guardian Dogs and Guardian Llamas! Without these wonderful animals protecting my herd, I would be much more worried about them than I am. |
