Much like with Schanke we hear LaCroix first rather than see him, or rather we hear one of his instruments of seductionhis rebec, a bowed stringed instrument. For a series certainly not lacking in engaging and talented lead actors, Nigel Bennett as LaCroix is one of the shows strongest assets. Physically hes a very striking and imposing actor. Hes the tallest of the series regulars and his white blond hair and pale skin (compliments of the makeup department) present a strong visual. |

Bennetts LaCroix could arguably be one of the most memorable aspects of Forever Knight. Thats no small feat considering that he was only sporadically used during the first season. Bennett also has the distinction of being the only one of the shows three main vampires to never wear a wig during the shows flashback sequences. Much like Wyn Davies Nicholas in this episode LaCroix also sports a very contemporary hair cut. He almost looks like a Billy Idol impersonator but its a testament to his performance that it doesnt detract from the power and malevolence that LaCroix should convey. |

On that auspicious night in Paris LaCroix is clad in very stereotypical vampire villain garb. The collar to his black cloak fans out wide and frames his head in all close up shots. The cloak itself is held at the neck with a prominent silver clasp and it circle of fabric around the middle finger holds the sleeve. LaCroix also wears silver long oval ring on the pinky finger of his right hand. |
