GT Testing carry out the following tests on appliances with a plug in accordance with the IEE code of practice. We use the latest computer based technology for efficiency and to , we can print or email full reports as required. These will have to be kept for your records.

  • Visual Inspection
  • Earth bond
  • Sub Leakage
  • Touch Leakage

A pass or fail label is attached to each item, we can also use an asset number bar code if required.

In order to carry out the tests, we do have to unplug the equipment; most items take around five minutes to test.
