November 10, 2007 Sew Glam Online IP Service Project
Makayla, Abbey, Alliosn, Stephanie and Brenda meet at the Simoneaux home to make 10 fleece blankets for the service project part of earning Sew Glam. The blankets will be donated to needy children.
January 2 and January 12, 2008
We met at the Babineaux home to ready supplies for the SU 632 Time Bandits lock-in. At one of the workshops, participants will make their own commerative Audubon Council beanie pillow. This is our last year our council will be known as Audubon due to GSUSA's decision to merge councils in each state.

Carol donated beanie material, thread, stuffing and sewed up 3 sides to cut time down at the workshop.

140 people attending lock in, lots of prep work to do
Allison measured the stuffing & Kat packed individual bags with pillow supplies. Nancy measured & cut string for love bead workshop.
Nic worked on slide show presentation of previous lock-ins which will shown at the opening of the 2008 lock-in.
JANUARY 25-26, 2008     TIME BANDITS LOCK IN
Our lock-in theme was decades of the 20th century. Makayla led 1940 song workshop, Nic led 1950 dance, Karen led 1960 craft workshop (love beads, peace buttons, Rickie Tickie stickers), Allison led 1970 twister game, Brenda led 1980 GS Trivial Pursuit, Carol led 1990 Beanie Babies (we made Audubon Council pillows-our last year known as Audubon), 2000 service project workshop (postcards and donations to soldiers overseas). We had pizza, popcorn, soda for the movie, "Meet the Robinsons"...a flag ceremony, breakfast and kapers Saturday morning. We had a visitor from New Hampshire, Gabriella the Bear, who is traveling around the USA.
February 9 and March 8, 2008  In the Pink Interest Patch
On February 9, we met at Bojangles Coffee Shop in Praireville to work on an IP for breast cancer awarenss. Abbey brought her laptop so that we could check out several websites about breast cancer and do activities needed to earn the patch. On March 8, Abbey, Allison, Makayla, Brenda and Nic took part in the Race for the Cure in downtown Baton Rouge in the 5K walk and visited breast cancer awarenss booths at the event.

We helped unload the delivery truck, divided the cases up into troop orders, load  vehicles.
