About Me

Hello! My name is Gabriela and I'm a senior in high school. I'm currently a student in Computer Animation and Web Design, where over the course of two years, I learned a lot about web programming and 3D modeling. When I graduate, I aspire to become either a software developer or a software engineer because CAWD helped me find my love for programming. In my free time I really enjoy drawing, and hope to slowly improve with time. Some of the awards I've earned include 3rd place at SkillsUSA Animation Vermont and the Certified Web Designer Apprentice. A big part of my story is I am an immigrant who moved to America at the age of 9 (2016). I lived in Alaska for 8 months before moving to Vermont. These big moves taught me how to adapt quickly to new spaces no matter how scary they might seem at first, and how to make the most out of new situations I might find myself in, be it professional or personal matters.
