We also have the best collection of flies for the Maine waters, so regardless of the time of the season you come in, we will have the flies you need to land any type of fish you want.
Here at Uncle John's, we also offer guide services to take you out fishing and help you learn the area. We will set you up with equipment you need and one of our three professional guides will help you learn the ropes of fishing in Western Maine.
A lot of people come into the shop as newbie's asking us to teach them how to cast. Feel free to swing in; as we'd be more than happy to teach you, but if you can't make it in, try watching this video to get an overview of the process.
