Random Acts of Kindness 5/2008
We made colorful fun cards for children in the hospital. It was for the organization Love Letters: Random Acts of Kindness. Some of the cards where distributed to children in the Casa Grande Medical Center. Check out the Love Letters website: loveletterscares.com
Casa Grande Ruins - Cleanup (Nov. 2007)
The Casa Grande ruins have been around for hundreds of years. As a community service project we collected trash, 27 bags to be exact. The Dream Seekers Service Unit was well represented with ~75 Girl Scouts. After the clean up we had a tour and learned a lot of interesting facts. For example, no one knows why the ruins were built or what purpose they were to serve.

Tucson Stocking Project (Annual Event 12/05,12/06, 12/07)
The Grace Community Church Quilters created the Tucson Stocking Project to provide beautifully quilted stockings as a Christmas treat for a special child. Each girl really enjoyed buying goodies, toys, and necessities to fill the stockings. The stockings were donated to the Casa Grande Against Abuse Organization.
Holiday Poppers (Annual Event 12/05,12/06, 12/07)
2005 - We made over 1300 candy filled poppers which were donated to the Salvation Army Angel Tree Recipients.
2006 - We made 589 poppers for the Salvation Army Angel Tree Recipients.
2007 - We made 1302 poppers for the Salvation Army Angel Tree Recipients.
Project - Katrina Support (COMPLETED)
Dreamseekers Service Unit collected gently used clothes and toys for the Hurricane Katrina victims. Many of them have relocated right here in Arizona, so these items should get to them quickly as they start their new lifes.
