Matéria-Tinta - Deformable Casts: Tension Between Flux and Mold

During my research, I developed a fluid white substance which I named matéria-tinta. Once dried, depending on its concentration, it may assume states ranging from a elastic translucent "skin" to a flexible opaque glob.

So being, Formless Group, Snakes end Ladders, Drip Music and Circular are a sort of deformable casts taken from the shape of ladders, staircases and gloves because freed from these moulds, they enter, by the action of the gravity, a deformable process.

This tension between form and formlessness, between static mould and dynamic flux is also manifest as a presence and absence dialetic in the Republicando Show Installation and in Eva .

The Non-Writing Machines, Verse-in-Verse and Captions develop this presence and absence dialetic in terms of linguistic representation. More than signification they stress the caleidoscopic functioning of the simbolic register.
