Trips Semester 2 2005 Trips are the backbone of GRUBS activities, we aim to provide equipment, support, and experience to facilitate excursions into the outdoors. Annual trips include white water kayaking at Goolang creek, Regular bushwalks of varying grades and difficulty, weekly rock climbing at Kangaroo point, rock climbing trips, sea kayaking trips and a two week house stay in the Blue mountains. Want to organise a trip? Members are encouraged to use GRUBS equipment to organise their own trips if they have the relevant experience. If not then it's easy enough to talk one of the executive into coming along and helping out. Contact a member of the exec to organise a trip! Scheduled trips for 2005. G’day Grubbers, We have some great trips cooked up for you in the second semester. There is the usual mix of Bushwalking, Paddling, Climbing + other activities. Once again if you are keen to run a trip get in touch with the executive and they can help you out.
Climbing will continue to
run on Wednesday’s at Kangaroo Point, directions can be found
on the web page to find out more email Leon. Girls climbing will continue
to run on Tuesday’s - guys are welcome to turn up but they have
to wear a skirt to climb :) Madeline, Sam and Moshu are the ones to
talk to about this. Also Sean and Sameer have been bouldering at Toohey
forest (the forest around Griffith) on Monday afternoons. With the cooler
weather it is now the season for climbing at Frog Buttress Australia’s
premier crack climbing destination, Alex and Josh are out there most
weekends so if you want a lift drop us a line.
