Pegguy joined the Reds on a Bosman free from Premiership side, Leicester City. Pegguy describes his time at Anfield as a "dream in the making." He only made 2 apperances for the 1st team through out Liverpool's treble winning season.
Before Pegguy came to Liverpool, he knew that he was going to be second choice keeper to Westerveld and that if he had stayed at Leiscter he would have had more of a chance of playing first team football but he could not resist the offer from Liverpool, the team he used to watch on television as a boy.
Pegguy caught the eye of Houlliuer when he played in the match against Liverpool, two seasons ago. Pegguy put on a great performance that night and Liverpool lost the game 2-0. Some even say it's because of him Liverpool didn't qualify for the Champions League that saeson!!
Pegguy is a towering figure between the posts and will always be remembered for his dramatic saves aginst Arsenal during his time at Leicester
Pegguy continues to work hard and believes that someday the No 1. shirt, will be his.
