"Your son will be fine Mrs. Sanders." Dr. Watkins explained.

The room erupted in cheers and thanks.

Nurse Crackett stormed in and said "People I don't care if you are member of
the Police Dept this is still a hospital if you can't keep the noise down I
will call Security."

The room as a whole apologized and promised to be quieter in the future.

"I have just given Greg some new meds to help him feel better and with the
smells coming from the bag in front of you I assure you Greg will feel
better.  He was already asking for some Blue Hawaiian earlier." Dr. Watkins
laughed.

"Yes I love the stuff myself, I am surprised I haven't saw Greg at the store
buying it.  They don't keep a lot on hand you know." He commented.

The CSI's let a collective groan another coffee junkie Yeah. But in this
case they could forgive the Dr. as long as Greg continues to improve.

"Here Doctor you have this one.  My daughter Mary can run and get Greg some
more if your going to be occupied with him for a little bit longer." Emily
handed him the cup in question.

Mary didn't need to be told twice and ran for more and at a knowing look
from her mother to get a bag for the doctor as well as a cup for Greg.

"Thank you I really appreciate this and I will be done with my examination
soon." And the doctor left the room.

Everyone just stood there and sighed hoping that Greg would be out of
hospital soon.

The doctor came back a little later, just before Mary had come in fact with
the Blue Hawaiian.  He explained that Greg had improved and he would be
moved down stairs for the Cat Scan because of his improved condition.

They were all told to go home for awhile and come back later because the
testing would take time.

They all left and went to Greg's room to say hi and were promptly shooed off
by Nurse Crackett because her patient needed rest and they weren't helping
that in the least.

They left sullenly but left just the same.

Greg finally came back from a full morning battery of testing.  Dr. Watkins
thought while he was down there they might as well do everything all at once
not just the Cat Scan.

He had been prodded and poked and wasn't in a very good mood especially
since the cup of Blue Hawaiian that had been hot when he left just didn't
taste the same when nuked for him later.

Shift change came and Nurse Crackett explained his case to the oncoming
staff in advance of Family and team.  One nurse in particular perked up when
they were informed that Nick would most likely be spending the night in the
room again.

Nurse Simpson commented that according to hospital policy only family
members or spouses could spend the night with patients.  According to the
file which she was reading from in front of her Mr. Nick Stokes was neither.

Doctor Watkins came to the desk at that moment and explained that no, Mr.
Stokes wasn't family but he was in fact Mr. Sander's spouse and in this
special case the spousal protocol was in effect.  Nurse Simpson looked like
she was going to cause more trouble, but the doctor stopped her in her
tracks.

"Nurse Simpson is it, if you have a problem with this arrangement; which I
might add has already been approved by the Hospital Administration than I
think Nurse Crackett should call down to staffing and have you reassigned to
a different floor for the time being.  Would you like that done Nurse
Simpson?" Dr. Watkins asked.

Nurse Simpson looked shocked at what the doctor said "No, No, Doctor there
won't be any need for anything to do be done I am sorry about any
misunderstandings."

"Good I am glad that everything has been settled. Have a good shift everyone
and I need immediate updates on any changes to Mr. Sander's conditions." Dr.
Watkins announced and left the floor.

The Charge nurse had been late on floor and Nurse Crackett had started
report and left before the new charge nurse handed out room assignments.
Nurse Simpson was given Greg's room much to the delight of the other staff.
She stiffened when told she would be monitoring Greg.

Nurse Michael's asked if there was a problem with this room and patient.
Nurse Simpson said no ma'am and went on her duty rounds.

She had just finished checking Greg's vitals when visiting hours started and
Nick and Mary and Emily came in to see Greg.  They asked how the patient was
doing and were told that he was good.  Nurse Simpson left the room fast when
she saw Nick and Greg kiss.

Greg asked then for the coffee he could see in Mary's hand.  They all
laughed while he drank his coffee through a straw with gusto.

"Glad to see your feeling better kooky." Nick said as he dove in for another
kiss.

"Yeah, me too." Greg Sighed.

"You scared us for too long young man, don't you ever do that to me again."
Emily scolded him.

"Don't worry mom I won't not on purpose at least believe me." Greg laughed.

"Is there anything you need bro?" Mary asked.

"Yeah there is," Greg blushed.

"What honey? What do you need" Emily asked innocently.

Greg visibly gulped and blushed again from head to toe before answering. "I
would love to have a shower but I don't want one of the nurses to help me
with it."

Everyone laughed.

Greg gave them all evil looks.

This made them laugh even more.  Nick came up with a temporary solution to
the problem.

"Kooky how about I go ask the staff for a basin and I give you a bed bath."
Nick wondered.

"Would you do that? I would love it thanks Nick." Greg beamed.

Nick left to ask Nurse Simpson for a wash basin and some towels and soap.
She looked at him very strangely.

"Why would you like these items?" She asked.

"Mr. Sanders doesn't feel comfortable with the nurses giving him a bath and
has asked me to do help him with his bathing if that is okay?" Nick informed
her slightly ticked off with her attitude.

"I will have to ask Nurse Michaels if this appropriate, and your name is?"
Nurse Simpson asked.

"Nick Stokes, Greg Sanders is my partner." Nick explained.

Nurse Simpson blushed and said she would go ask the RN in charge.

They came back to the station and Nurse Michaels asked Nick what he wanted
again.

Nick explained that Greg wanted to have a shower but in his condition that
wasn't going to happen but that he also felt embarrassed to have the nurses
give him a bed bath.

Nick said that he would be glad to give Greg the bed bath and that all he
had asked for was a basin and towels he could get the water from the sink in
Greg's room.

Nurse Michaels turned to Nurse Simpson and said that she was to get the
items in question and also some body wash would work better than soap.

"Mr. Stokes did you tell Nurse Simpson that you wanted to use the shower to
help clean Mr. Sanders?" Nurse Michaels asked.

Nick blushed himself and said "No Nurse Michaels, I explained that Greg
wanted to have a shower but that he probably couldn't because of his
condition.  Then as I told you before he felt embarrassed about having the
nurses giving him a bed bath and that he had asked me to do it instead.  I
am sorry if there was any confusion in this matter."

Nick than looked right at Nurse Simpson, who had just returned from getting
the basin, towels and body wash.

"I see well Mr. Stokes after reviewing the patient's file I don't see why
there should be any problems at all this happens in the hospital sometimes
with both male and female patients.  Yes you're more than welcome to help
Mr. Sanders with his bath." Nurse Michaels announced.

Nurse Simpson hesitantly gave Nick the items in question.

Nick left to go to Greg's room.

"Nurse Simpson, would you join me in the Med Room?" Nurse Michaels asked.

They went into the Med Room so that there wouldn't any noise interference
during the conversation.

"Do you have a problem with this patient Miss Simpson?" Nurse Michaels got
right to the point.

"No, Nurse Michaels I don't in the least I just don't feel that someone
other than a family member or a spouse should be doing personal care on a
patient.  That's all." Nurse Simpson explained.

"What if it had been a family member asking for a male PSW* would you have
objected than?" she asked.

To cover her ass Nurse Simpson said "Yes she would have.  What if something
had happened to the patient while they were bathing him.  We would have been
at fault and the hospital could have been sued."

Nurse Michaels thought on that for a second but then said. "Listen I don't
want any more trouble with you and this patient or any of his friends or
family.  If there are any strange requests bring them to my attention if not
then do your job.  I don't want anymore trouble on my watch.  Do we
understand each other?"

"Yes, we do perfectly." Nurse Simpson said sarcastically and left the med
room without waiting for a response.

While they had been in talking Greg's mom and sister had left and the drapes
had be pulled around Greg's bed.

She saw Nick coming thru the curtains and changing the water in the basin.
She could hear laughter from inside the curtains but didn't say anything.

Meanwhile Nick came back with another basin of water there was Greg laying
on his side facing the wall.

Nick just stood there looking at the back of his lover thinking how sculpted
his ass looked.  It looked like two perfect mounds that you could knead and
shape to yours and his ultimate pleasure and the wonderful crevice in
between the wonders and joys they had had in the past together got Nick hard
all over again.

Greg turned and started chuckling "I knew it you didn't even make the whole
trip back from the can before I caught you fantasizing about my butt again."

Nick laughed "Your right you did because like the rest of you your ass is
perfect too."

Nick put down the basin and started washing Greg from the neck down.  He as
he definitely should have paid more attention Greg's ass.

They talked while Nick finished up with he backside, then Greg turned over
and Nick took off the gown.

"Your front looks more enticing than your back you know that don't you."
Nick commented.

"Yes I do and I totally agree with you also now get on with it I am starting
to get a chill." Greg cautioned.

"Maybe I could help with that, we don't want you getting sicker than you
already are?" Gil questioned.

Both Nick and Greg looked up in shock and blushed.

Neither of them had heard Gil come into the room.
