Prototype Vettes

1986 Corvette Indy.  One of these beauies was produced with a mid-engine LT5 engine by lotus.  It had all wheel drive and all wheel steering. 

1964 XP-819 Prototype.  One was manufactured at a cost of over $500,000.  It is the only rear engine Corvette in the World!  It was also the first Corvette with body-colored urethane bumpers.  This information was acquired from the 2000 National Corvette Calendar.
