Everyday - (February 25th 1998)
Written by / copyright - Greg Jones
Hey look, it's another day
The sun is shining bright through my window
The morning breeze is gently blowing inside
And the air is fresh and cool
Everyday it's a new chance to start over
Everyday it's a brand new day, but hey....
Why dwell on things in the past
When all they do is bring you down
Why not smile and look beyond the horizon
Everyday the birds are chirping
Everyday as this world keeps turning
Spacewalk - (March 7th 1998)
Written by / copyright - Greg Jones
I have the clearance
I am ready
With both hands I grab the wheel
Turning anti-clockwise I try with all my might
And the hatch slowly opens
SPACEWALK ONE....
Space, dark and silent
Wonder how you came about
I'm walking amongst your bodies of dust and gas
I'm standing on the rings of Saturn, looking out
Past the solar system
Far beyond the the endless corners
Swimming in your sea of sparkle and shine
Racing with the comets
Balls of ice spinning like tops
I am dancing with your interstellar beat
And swaying with the flickering solar flares
A nudge of worldly gravity alters my course
Leading me to other planets with oceans of blue
Like my home, Mother Earth... she awaits my return
SPACECRAFT ONE....
Cockpit control
Many hours have passed and I'm still glued to the spaceport window
Staring out into nothingness
Waiting for my turn to walk outside
