So, ya got a name?
*The tall, brunette man is standing at the counter in the kitchen, making one of those typical-man sandwiches, one that's got almost everything that's edible and able to fold on it* *starts putting some foods on the white bread, and glances to you after a minute* Yeah. Justin Brennan. Pleased ta meet ya. *is genuinely happy, but is concentrating on that damn sandwich, so he doesn't smile yet*
*eyes you a bit warily* What's your real name?
*looks to you with a slightly confused expression, quickly, but then looks back to his sandwich again just as quick as some meat tips and starts to slide off* Oh, no you don't. *catches it and carefully puts it back* Whew. And that- that is my real name, what makes you think I'd lie? *looks to you and gives a spontaneous grin, shifting his gaze back his oh-so-pleasant food*
You got a nickname or anything?
*shakes his head a little* Nah. Justin works. Unless, that is, you can think up one for me. Which I sort of doubt, because nobody's been able to think of one. *is quiet a minute as he slowly blushes* I mean, I guess Sunset might have her own nicknames for me, but...*shakes his head again, giving a light laugh* That's a whole different story....*reaches up with the back of his hand and rubs a spot on his forehead*
*smirks a bit* How'd you get that one?
*stops and looks at you quickly* What're you talkin' about? Did she tell you somethin'? Oh, Good Lord. *looks to his sandwich, not really making it at the moment, though* Ok, what have I done in the past...what kind of nickname would she have created...*pauses a little, shaking his head* No....no, I don't have a nickname. I don't know what you're thinkin' but I don't have one. *looks to you and exhales, shaking his head* Don't do that to me, man. Damn.
So how old are you, anyways?
*whew* *okay, good, change of subject* Yeah, uh, I'm eighteen. My birthday's October 15th, same as my sister Kylie. Kylie - *laughs* - she's funny. I love 'er, I'm glad she's my sister. But I don't know yet if we have that whole telepathic thing, since we're twins and all. Some people have asked us, but I've never seen it work. We may be twins, but I don't think we have special magical powers or anything...
Whaddaya look like? *receives a 'look' from you* Just answer the question...
*exhales, shaking his head again* You know, what kind of question is that? I mean, honestly. Nobody comes up to someone and says, "Hey, whaddaya look like?" *laughs lightly* You can just put down, brown hair, brown eyes, fair skin, 6 foot. *nods* Alright? *well, there's a little bit more to it than that* *has slightly unruly dark brown hair, soft and cute; deep brown eyes, they almost look right into your soul; he is in fact six foot, but he's muscular - very muscular - and attractive*
*smiles* I'm assuming you have a personality...what's it like?
*puts an item or two more onto his manly sandwich, and hesitates* Well, I'm pretty nice, I guess, or at least that's what people tell me. I listen to others...and let them know I'm here for them...that is, of course, if we're friends or family. *nods* You can always tell how I'm feeling, 'cause you can see it in my face, in my eyes. *shrugs* It's just been somethin' I've always had, people know when I'm upset or happy... or when I'm lying. That's the one thing I hate, people can tell..*looks to you and smirks* Not like I'd lie about anything...*laughs and looks back his sandwich*...but you know what I mean. *really wouldn't lie...unless circumstances were way different*
Wanna tell us about your background? Please?
*gives a heavy sigh, hesitates* I guess. *pauses to put his words together, placing the bread on top of the items* I was raised by my dad because my mom left us when I was just a little kid. Then my dad died and I was on my own, and I was lucky enough to find my twin sister Kylie over at Upper East Side lodging house. I didn't even know I had had any siblings at all, it was amazing. We sort of look alike, I guess, not really though. We both have brown eyes, brown hair..but that's about it. *nods a little* And she had lived with our grandpa all her life, and I had lived with our dad. But of course, since he died, I'm living here. *looks to you*
*nods* M-hm. I see. *smiles* Got any friends or relatives?
*grins some, a boyish one* Yeah...Sunset, of course. And Kylie, and some people over at the Upper East Side Lodging House in Manhattan. And the lodgers here, obviously. I don't know everybody, but...you know. *goes to the icebox to get sasparilla out*
What about a special someone? *winks and grins*
*almost drops the pitcher of sasparilla* *hurries to set it on the counter* What? *looks to the kitchen door, finds it closed* Oh...*looks back to you* That's cruel, man. I thought she was comin' in here just then. You can't do that to me. *sighs, shakes his head, goes back to his sandwich* Well, that special someone is Sunset. She's the leader here...of course, you know her. *can't help but smile at this* We're gonna get married, you know...*laughs some, and sort of appears to be in his own little SunsetLand for a minute or two*
Anything else you wanna let us know about? Special talents, pet peeves.. ?
*blinks and snaps out of it* *looks to you and shakes his head* Nah. Unless you got other stuff you wanna know. Which, apparently, you don't. So considering you've....one, asked me a dumb question like "whaddaya look like?", two, made me think Sunset told you stuff about me, and three, made me think she was walkin' in here, I suggest you go...before you get tomato in your hair....*kidding tone, and he smirks some at you* Just kidding, man. I'll see you around, I guess. Take care.
