So, ya got a name?
*The teenage girl, her eyes deep and soulful and her face concentrating, hears your voice hit her ears* *she shifts her eyes from her Shakespeare novel to you, and from her seat in the kitchen chair, she doesn't look too offended that you've bothered her Romeo and Juliet reading* Yeah, I do. Dawn. Dawn Fischer. Who might you be? Considering I'm supposed to know everybody here...*raises an eyebrow just so, giving a small smile* *glances back to the page of the novel, turning it gently yet quickly and glancing to the top of the next page, her eyes moving from the left side of the page to the right*
*eyes you a bit warily* What's your real name?
*her eyes stop, and she blinks a little, glancing back to you again* Aaand what do you think "Dawn Fischer" is? My mobster alias? Do you know any mobsters with a name like Dawn Fischer? *realizes this will take a while, so she shuts the book and slides it onto the table, sitting up in the chair and looking over at you*
You got a nickname or anything?
*thinks for a minute, her eyes circling in their sockets up to the ceiling, then coming back down to meet yours* Nope. Amy doesn't have one for me, and neither does Ian. Derek, Anna and Alex don't know me well enough to make a nickname for me. *shrugs just a little* There are quite a few people that don't know me that well, and that's fine with me. Less people I have to explain my life story to.
*smirks a bit* How'd you get that one?
*sighs some* Didn't I just explain to you that I don't have one? You know, you need to get your ears checked or something. You must not be hearing very well. *in a tone that suggests all around goodness, she's just joking, and anyone that knows Dawn will know that she's always sarcastic - especially with Ian*
So how old are you, anyways?
*nods a little* There we go. Finally a question that has nothing to do with my name, which I've said about forty-five times. *shakes head* I'm seventeen. My birthday's July 13th. *gives a small lighthearted smile*
Whaddaya look like? *receives a 'look' from you* Just answer the question...
*sighs and shakes head, putting a hand to her forehead* Are you serious? *takes her hand away and looks to you again* Come on now. Here, write down whatever you think I look like. But don't make me seem like something I'm not. *pauses* No, wait, here, let me tell you what to put down - okay ready? Long hair, it's been called "honey blonde", so put that. And umm - green eyes. Yeah, that's good. Light skin, about 5'8", and my weight...*stops* You just put down slender. Slender works. *shakes head and sighs* How's that, huh? Good? *nods and smiles* Yeah. I thought so.
*smiles* I'm assuming you have a personality...what's it like?
*sighs some, shifting position in the kitchen chair* Alright, that's a hard one. Umm...I'm very sarcastic. Sometimes I piss people off that way, but it's okay. I guess they get over it, 'cause they always come back and talk to me. Other than that, I'm sympathetic, I understand what others are going through. I'm always here for people I care about, for anything they have to do. Especially Ian, he's been through a lot too, and I just...I really, really hate seeing him upset about -anything.- *sighs* So, yeah. What else? I think that's all, huh?
Wanna tell us about your background? Please?
*bites her lip just a little, exhaling* Yeah, I know it. I don't wanna know it, but I know it. When I was a baby, my parents didn't want me I guess...they dropped me off at an orphanage. I grew up there, and finally ran away when I was fifteen. I sort of just stayed with different people for the next year or so, then I found this place. That's just the basic version of it though. I never knew my real parents, I only found out their names and where they lived from my cousin. *nods slowly*
*nods* M-hm. I see. *smiles* Got any friends or relatives?
I met Amy when her and I were twelve - she was living on the streets with her Mom, and I was in the orphanage. I told her she could come stay with me, but she said she would have wanted to be on the streets with her Mom instead of in an orphanage without her. I understood, and we bonded since then. She's my best friend. *smiles gently* Then I met Ian a year later. Amy didn't know her brother Alex then, but I met him when he moved into the house a few months back. Amy's boyfriend Derek and his sister Anna, I met them after Amy told me all about Derek and how much she loves him and everything. Amy and Ian already knew each other through me, we had known each other for about four years. We're all pretty good friends, I guess. But Amy's my best friend, and Ian's my.....he's my man. My guy. Mine. I love 'im. *smiles and gives a half-laugh*
What about a special someone? *winks and grins*
*nods* That'd be Ian. When I first saw him, -ever-, I felt this- this instant explosion inside, I almost got weak the the knees and everything. *shakes head* But he was so much more popular than I was...*sighs a little, then stops, knowing very well that the next parts are private* *the two had been attracted to eachother from the start, but they always thought something about the other and never discussed it - then they finally brought it up, after finally giving into the romantic connection between them, and discovered that they should have just gotten together to begin with* *finally just gives a genuine grin that makes her face light up a bit* Ian's great. I- I just can't describe him anymore than that. Indescribable. *picks up the Romeo and Juliet book she had been reading and holds it up* This was one of the encounters I had with him that made me realize I love him. *puts it down, shaking her head* Long story.
Anything else you wanna let us know about? Special talents, pet peeves.. ?
*shakes head and stands up* Nope, I think that's all. *stretches her arms a little* I hope you've been entertained by this interview. Now if you don't know anything about me after this, you're crazy. *laughs a little* See ya around, okay?
