Andy Cane -  (friend) - Seventeen year old best friend, and also love interest, of Pumpkin McClellan. Works as a stable boy, but has been in slight consideration of becoming a newsie. Anthony Carlson - (foe) -  This arrogant British nobleman is the one that Ari Violli blames for the disappearances of two of his sisters. Florencia Violli fled Italy soon after meeting Anthony, breaking her betrothal. The family believes that she eloped and does not know that this is false. Mia Violli was sold to Anthony's father to pay off a restaurant debt. Anthony is currently living at Bay-Ridge. He has sandy blonde hair and brown eyes with glasses. Cara Violli - (family) -  Littlest sister of Aramond "Ari" Violli, she is a bright and spunky 11 year old girl. If she is ever seen outside of the Catholic School that she attends, she will be accompanied by Valerie Corbin or her brother Ari, but only on special occasions. Emmeline Reese - (friend-family) -  Cousin of Felicity Dessecker, she is obviously not a picture of old Dover values like her cousin. She is a vaudeville dancer at Vinnie Milton's Bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Standing 5' 6" with long blonde curls and shy coloured eyes, Valerie met Ari Violli and his sister Cara the day they arrived in America.
