When I first bought the truck, there was a Pioneer head unit without a faceplate, and a Pioneer 12 disk changer.  I installed my head unit, a Pioneer DEH - P3300 and a Pioneer DEQ - 7200.  I recently installed a Sony Active Crossover where the Airbag Key Switch and Cig lighter used to be.  Click here to see it.

Here are a couple of shots with the new unit and EQ before I made the new console for the Sony Crossover.  Not the airbag key switch and aux cig lighter..

I am really impressed with the performance of the DEH - P3300.  Coupled with the EQ, and the new Crossover, this makes for an impressive combination.  My speakers are an MTX Thunder 4000 Sub, and Pioneer 6 1/2" speakers in the doors.  All speakers are powered by a single Sony Amplifier. That will soon change........
In order for the install of the head unit and EQ to not look "cheeseballed," I had to widen the opening of the trim panel with a Dremel tool and a file.    All in all, I think the dash turned out looking pretty good.  I plan on throwing some white face gauges in here to finish the dash.

As for sound quality and road noise, I have started to install Dynamat in the doors and on the back wall.  I ran out of Dynamat, and since this is my daily driver, I had to put it all back together. I will also be slapping it onto the floorboards and applying spray Dynamat onto all of the panels and where it is hard to get to with the mat.
These pictures are old.  I no longer have the Pioneer head unit, EQ, or the Changer.  I sold all of these for a new Alpine unit.  Model number CDA-9813... This unit is badass!  It plays mp3 files WMA files, has a built in EQ and Crossover.  Very nice.  I will post more pics when I have the time to take em.
