Welcome to the Museum
Welcome
We operate as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Basically this means that we receive almost all of the money used for operating costs, maintenance, utilities, display acquisitions and other miscellaneous items and expenses that come with the operation of a museum from the general public or private donations from individuals, companies and organizations.
Our Board
We currently have a Board of Directors made up of ten members, including a president, vice-president and secretary. The Museum Board meets once per month to discuss items of interest or requirement and to plan for any future activities that may take place within the Museum's calendar.
All of our Board positions are non-paying and each Board member, upon being seated, holds the position for at least a six-month term.
Exhibits
We offer more than 100 exhibits from across the United States that have in one form or another been directly used in the areas of horror movies. We are located at 143 N.Hll Street in Griffin, Georgia just one hour's drive from downtown Atlanta.
