This is just the first floor, the blue lines are little trails through equipment, the red lines are cleared pathways, and the dotted lines are the boundries of the mass of wires, cables, machines, things that go 'parp', instruments, et cetera.
Hanger #2 is part of Aeon's network of places of study, it houses many experiments, as well as scientists and data, but most importantly, it houses the Portal. Founded as a place where research could be persued away from the meddling of the public and the government alike; it is a Mecca for many rather unorthodox scientists, such as Dr. Amazu, a gorilla who runs the day to day affairs of the hanger. Amazu ensures that all findings are duely reported to Aeon and any other relevant parties, as well as pursuing his own projects.
Hanger #2 is almost constantly underconstruction above and below ground, with more labs, housing, and storage areas being built as fast as possible. The hanger itself has three levels, although the second is unoffical and the third is rarely used for anything more than long term storage. There are makeshift sleeping areas and a cafeteria inside the hanger itself, but G�nter tries to highly discourage these as he has recieved several reports that were completely illegible due to coffee and drool marks.
Located deep in the mountains of New Mexico, reachable only by air, Hanger #2, has and will remain hidden for years to come. That is until one fateful day in the 1950's whereupon it is discovered and dubbed Area 51 by the media. That, however, is a story for another day.
