MY MUSIC PAGE!
So here's what I'm into now.
As you may realize, I'm a big fan of Liz Phair and have all of her albums (except the shitty s/t). I'm also a big fan of classic rock; I think anybody who disrespects the big contributors of classic rock are complete fools (of course these sorts of people typically wouldn't realize how much these artists contributed to the art, let alone realize that music is an art).
The main classic rock artists I'm into are Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Carole King, Beach Boys, The Beatles, Billy Joel, Bob Marley, Queen, Heart, Eric Clapton, CCR, Pretenders, Neil Young, Simon & Garfunkel, and Bruce Springsteen.
Artists of the past 20 years that I love are U2, Tom Petty, Michael Jackson (his '80s stuff), R.E.M., Tori Amos, Jewel, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Alanis Morissette, Ani DiFranco, Smashing Pumpkins, Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple, Nelly Furtado, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bjork and Sleater-Kinney.
There are lots of others that I highly respect, but aren't as into as most of these artists.

   I'm also interested in the
Riot Grrrl artists and bought Bikini Kill's first album on vinyl, which I'm really psyched about.  What I'm really extactic over is that I obtained a copy of Liz Phair's GirlySound, her 20+ song demo tapes from before Exile in Guyville!  It's not something that you can find at stores; you pretty much have to know someone in order to get it.
I'm currently really broadening my tastes and exploring highly recommended albums by artists I know little about or wouldn't normally listen to. I recently checked out the following albums at my local library: Modest Mouse: Good News for People Who Love Bad News, Sugarcubes: Life's Too Good, Bjork: Post, Gretchen Wilson: Here For The Party, and Damien Rice: O.
I'm also interested in albums by Joss Stone, Ray Charles, Franz Ferdinand, Green Day, and many many others.
