• Atlanta Mommas is a very active group of mommas! This is Renée's new favorite site, and she's already met some fellow mommas in person.
• Babycenter's September 2004 birth club is fun and informative. Lots of sharing baby pictures and comparing strange baby symptoms.
• The Nest's Babies on the Brain board, formerly known as The Knot's Baby Talk, was fun when Renée was pregnant, but not so much anymore.

A little background....

Renée was born March 9, 1979 in Birmingham, Alabama. She lived in Montevallo, Alabama for 16 years before moving to Snellville, Georgia. In 1997, she graduated from Brookwood High School and began attending the University of Georgia, where she met Chris! After college, Renée spent six months as a Rapid Responder with the American Red Cross/Americorps. When Chris graduated UGA in 2001, the couple moved to Tallahassee, where over the course of two years Chris got his Master's in film and Renée worked as a child abuse investigator, telephone survey taker, smell study guinea pig, and finally as a counselor at the Florida Abuse Hotline. Upon moving back to Georgia, the couple got married and bought a house and Renée began working for the Women's Economic Development Agency. After Josh was born, Renée returned to work there for a couple of months, but has since quit and is staying home with her wonderful baby boy! Renée went to training for H&R Block in January, but they never called her to come in and work. It's just as well. Josh doesn't mind.

Renée has one brother, Mike, who is currently a radio station guru living in Athens. They get along okay, although Mike is still afraid to hold Josh. Bad uncle!
