| The origins of the game date back to the summer of 1998-99, where over a couple of beers one sunny Sunday afternoon, Matt Topham and James Harrison put their heads together and decided that not enough recognition is given to the great rugby league teams of the era. Knowing the organising abilities of these two, Iain Hassall was quick to put them to the test, and stated that if they were to organise it, and actually get it off the ground, he would get off his lazy arse and play. The team was born. |
