This little ditty was written for a jazz combo in which I played piano. It is heavily inspired by the song "Autumn Leaves", a great jazz standard that has become sadly overplayed. It features the A-section played on the bass arco in the beginning and end, and, as with almost all jazz pieces, an extended AABA solo section.
