So comes the end of another successful year for GRAPA...

Members of the group were intimately involved with the staging of a season of short plays by Griffith-based playwright, Dona Parise. Held over several nights at the Griffith Regional Theatre's Burley Griffin Room, the production "Fancy a Quickie" attracted very large audiences and a number of new faces to the local stage. Congratulations goes to Dona nd her team for a highly successful venture.

GRAPA then work into overdrive with the staging of our second 'Shakespeare Under The Stars' production, the delightful comedy "12th Night." This was an outdoors, picnic-style production of eight performances amongst the lawns of the Griffith Cottage Gallery and Pioneer Park. The audiences came out in force and from all accounts enjoyed the shows very much. Thanks to Di Tarr and team and Cottage Gallery and Darryl Collins and staff at Pioneer Park for allowing GRAPA to take over their spaces - it was fantastic - we can't wait until next year.

2009 sees GRAPA staging Shakespeare's famously tragic romance "Romeo & Juliet." The city is already abuzz about this production, being one the truly great plays of the theatre-world.So, it promises to be an exciting year ahead!
