THE EYE KNOWS

We're off to bigger and better things. That President Obama has America on the move once again. Jobs out the whazoo are being created and saved. You don't believe me? Read on....

The First of Many

It is quite possible that "The Eye" may have underestimated Obaka.
Obama on stimulus: 'I know we did the right thing'; Darlene Superville, Associated Press Writer; Mar 7, 2009
I have been saying its wrong, but then what do I know compared to an AP writer of the stature of Darlene Superville.
COLUMBUS, Ohio - While acknowledging an "astounding" number of job losses in February, President Barack Obama told critics of his $787 billion economic recovery plan Friday that it is saving jobs and said, "I know we did the right thing." He suggested that critics talk to 25 police recruits in Ohio's capital city who owe their jobs to stimulus spending and "talk to the teachers who are still able to teach our children because we passed this plan."
Yep Darlene and Obaka agree and the idiot that I am, I still disagree. I left the Ohio dateline for a purpose, by the way.
News that 651,000 jobs were lost in February brings to "an astounding 4.4 million" the number of jobs lost since the recession began, Obama said. The unemployment rate spiked to 8.1 percent.
Why all the doom here, Darlene, 25 new recruits were hired. I know math was not my long suit growing up but I do own a calculator and as apparently stupid as I may be, I still can calculate the cost to employ those 25 recruits. (Let's see 787 billion divided by 25 is, don't help me now..... that's 31billion 480 million dollars per job created.)
But Obama touted the 114th police recruit class as proof that the stimulus plan, which drew scant Republican support in Congress, is paying dividends.
And Obaka just might be right too. Stupid Republicans anyway. You look at the 4.4 million figure when you should be focusing on the important figure of 25.
"I look at these young men and women, I look into their eyes and I see their badges today, and I know we did the right thing," Obama said, the recruits seated behind him on stage.
And how right he is!!! Look those recruits right in the eye with pride. Can I give you a little tip Berry? While you're focusing on those 25 recruits don't look the 100 million taxpayers in the eyes. They might want to ask a few questions.

And those numbers just keep piling up!!!

Well, maybe I was too hasty in my judgement. There is another story coming out of Ohio that might make all of you rest a little easier.
Stark's hottest job: Janitor; By Benjamin Duer; CantonRep.com staff writer; Mar 6, 2009
Nearly 700 people have applied for a single job as a school custodian. Perry Local Schools have an open position, full time with benefits, at Edison Junior High School after its afternoon janitor retired. It pays $15 to $16 an hour.
Remember every month when the jobless rate kept falling under the Bush administration "surprising and confounding" analysts? The au contraire was, they were only hamburger flipping jobs. Well this is no hamburger flipping job!!!
"There's a lot of people out there like me that are looking for stability," Croston said Friday.

Her two brothers are custodians for North Canton schools.

"They all love their jobs. Theyfve never been laid off," Croston said.
Hmmm, let's see here. The 25 police recruits, the 2 custodians who kept their jobs and the one custodial position open.... Well, they are all government jobs. See any pattern here?

Eye, you are such a creep. Always looking at the bad side of things. I know I know, let me look at the Darlene Superville side of things. The cost for job creation fell from 31billion 480 million to 30 billion 269 million. But all these jobs went to Ohio. Swing state Eye, don't you know anything?

The True Hardworkers of America

I saw this next story and found it hilarious. Pathetic too, but hilarious none-the-less.
Tongue-tied Clinton gets warm EU welcome; By David Brunnstrom; Reuters/Yahoo.com; Mar 6, 2009
Obaka cannot speak without a teleprompter, and Broom Hillary is a walking gaffe machine. She makes Joe Biden look like an oratory genius.
Hillary Clinton raised eyebrows on her first visit to Europe as secretary of state when she mispronounced her EU counterparts' names and claimed U.S. democracy was older than Europe's.
The mass media went ape-dung whenever Bush spoke, but.... does the little muffin queen get a pass?
Clinton has set herself a grueling pace on visits to Egypt, Israel and Brussels soon after touring the Far East, attending dozens of meetings and giving speech after speech, with little time worked into her schedule for sleep.
Wonder if she had to make another one of those corkscrew landings in Brussels?
Tiredness appeared to show Friday when she answered questions in front of 500 young Europeans at the European Parliament, where she was the highest-ranking U.S. visitor since the late U.S. President Ronald Reagan in 1985.
Yep, tiredness it is. We heard that from the drive-by media where both Obaka and Broomer were tired.
One working lunch later with EU leaders, Clinton raised more eyebrows when she referred to EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana, who stood beside her, as "High Representative Solano."

She also dubbed European Commission External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner as "Benito."
She definitely needs a vacation. Obaka took one after being in office 3 long weeks.
Clinton Goofs on Russian Translation, Tells Diplomat She Wants to 'Overcharge' Ties; FOXNews.com; March 06, 2009
Hell she needs more than sleep, she needs to be replaced!!!! Oh well they can still trot out one of their other 2 remaining covers -- all politicians lie, or "I was only joking". Funny, but both of these seem apropos here.
