A WOMAN????

I thought Republicans hated women, blacks, homosexuals and all things not white and male. This woman is a real conservative. And she is a BABE!!!!!

Hey Odumbo, you feel a little slip?

This pick came out of left field. Well maybe right field, after all she is a true conservative. She has a huge list of acomplishments. Additonally she hunts moose, she fishes, she is a great governor and she is a BABE of the highest order.

How do you know when you hit another homerun?

I asked this a couple weeks ago when McCain hit one. This one was a grand slam so far out of the park it cleared the parking lot.

Sarah Who? Why John McCain Picked VP Palin; By RICK KLEIN: Aug. 29, 2008; ABCnews.com 2008
You'll know when you hit one, the reaction from the mass media will let you know. There are all kinds of trash stories coming out. She must be good or they'd be praising her as the pick if she weren't.
Sen. John McCain's surprise choice of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to join the Republican presidential ticket represents a clear attempt to exploit a culture gap in the presidential race -- reviving a tactic that the Bush-Cheney team used to great effect in 2004.
Exploit a culture gap?? Can you see them trying to down play this McCain move? They realize it was brilliant but they won't admit it.
In a high-risk gambit with the potential for an equally high payoff, McCain is targeting a weakness in Obama's base and exploiting it.

But more broadly -- and perhaps more potently -- Palin helps McCain connect with working-class and rural voters.
I like that, "but more broadly". See they already have started the trash politics.

Obama, you just dont get it!!

The more I look at the VP pick, the more I like it. What looked like a boring race now is going to be so much fun. Lately McModerate has been playing brilliantly. Doing all the right things, but this.... this... this was genious. He has put so much energy in his campaign, Odumbo has been forgotten and the Democraps just ended their convention. Note the lack of stories about the big bounce they got from the campaign. Hell the Republicans didn't even start their campaign and they got a huge bounce that knocked the dems right off the front pages.

Obama campaign highlights Palin's 'zero' experience; Aug 29, 2008; AFP/Breitbart.com
Oh how I love this. Obama, the man with all that experience brings up experience. When all is said and done, he won't even be successful in playing the race card. Someone please show me his resume.
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's campaign on Friday blasted his Republican rival's choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as a running-mate, highlighting her "zero" foreign policy experience.
Well he might have a point. Maybe she can schedule a trip to Germany to make a speech. That would equal Odumbo's foreign policy experience. Sorry, I have to take that back, he does have more foreign policy experience. He must have visited the last 10 of the 60 states that Palin hasn't yet found on the map. (Roaring with laughter)
"Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said in a statement.
Overlook the fact that she is the governor of the state of Alaska who, by the way, is a tax cutter and knows how to mix it up in the political arena. Of those 143 days in the senate, can you tell me what serious things you've accomplished Senator?
Burton also criticized Palin as a vice presidential pick for her support of oil drilling in the Alaskan wilderness and her anti-abortion stance, referring to the 1973 Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal in the United States.

"Governor Palin shares John McCain's commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush's failed economic policies. That's not the change we need, it's just more of the same," he said.
Man are they flumoxed. They have no idea of how to attack her. Ask any American what they think of drilling in Alaska. Ask any American what they think of abortion. You will find that the OVERWHELMING majority support both. (Laughing even more now) More of the same? By their own definition, doing both is total change, but I guess those don't count.
The choice of Palin was seen as a bold effort by McCain to attract disgruntled Democratic and independent supporters of Senator Hillary Clinton, who was defeated by Obama in the race to be the Democratic Party's presidential nominee.
Yeah, I can agree. But to any guy, she sure looks a helluva lot better than the disgruntled Hillary Clinton (and her supporters as well). (I cannot stop the laughter now)

What is supposed to be a hit piece, actually is a resume enhancement.

The media has to rely on headlines, and healines only. They need to create distrust in the hopes that the average American will stop there. More than likely a headline is enough for a liberal because he can't waste time in looking at the facts.
Palin Could Be Deposed in Probe; ABCnews.com
This is all you got against her fellas? You better get more than that.
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, John McCain's surprise vice-presidential pick, is the subject of a legislative probe into claims that she abused her office by trying to get her former brother-in-law fired from his job as an Alaska state trooper.
If it's like most democrat charges, it lacks substance.
As for Wooten, McAlister maintains that her concern was justified, alleging, "He Tasered his 11-year-old stepson. He was observed drinking and getting into a squad car. And he illegally shot a moose, which doesn't sound like much -- but in Alaska, state troopers have wildlife authority."
Gosh, I would think the PETA crowd would applaud her. This guy should get the electric chair for illegally killing a moose.
A woman who answered the phone at Wooten's house declined to put him on the phone, saying, "He's putting his children first ... and has nothing to say about the campaign or Palin."
You have to wonder if children are "in season" for tasering.

Well folks you gotta admit it, unless McCain screws up badly, he should landslide this one. Ask Hillary, she's already decided who she will vote for. (Screaming with laughter)
