To all of you military active duty personnel, retired military and all veterans of the armed forces -- Thanks -- and my wishes for the best. And the best is not either of these two Democrap candidates, that's for sure.

Another storm in a teacup

Has anyone other than myself noticed that Barrack Hussein Obama has a campaign staff made up of a bunch of snivel nosed whining children?
Clinton faces uproar with Kennedy assassination comment; by Stephen Collinson: May 24, 2008; AFP/yahoonews.com
Who'd ever thought that I would ever defend a Clinton? Actually I am not defending the Ms BroomStick, just pointing out the obvious.
US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton faced a firestorm Saturday sparked by her raising the 1968 assassination of Senator Robert Kennedy to justify her decision to prolong her White House campaign.
The charge is very specific. BUT, like all liberal media moguls, the charge itself is the crime. There is normally a "lack of substance" in the charge. Take a look and decide for yourself.
"My husband (Bill Clinton) did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary, somewhere in the middle of June, right?" Clinton said Friday in an interview with the Argus Leader newspaper editorial board.

"We all remember, Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California, I don't understand it," Clinton said.
Now there is the "substance" I mentioned, or "lack of".
Obama spokesman Bill Burton condemned her comment as "unfortunate" and said it "has no place in this campaign."
Gosh, books were written on how to assasinate George W Bush and those got less coverage than this.
Clinton appeared to reference the Kennedy killing at the end of the 1968 Democratic presidential race to show that previous Democratic nominating contests have stretched well into June.

But referring to political assassinations is fraught with sensitivity, especially for supporters of Obama, who accepted Secret Service protection last year, long before the time it is offered to most presidential candidates, because of unspecified threats.
Sensitivity? Who is the sensitive one? Obama vociferously complained about a reporter who once asked him about the size of his ears. And those were his ears, not Ted Kennedy's brother's ears, or Dumbo's ears.
Obama spokesman Bill Burton condemned her comment as "unfortunate" and said it "has no place in this campaign."
I guess they're right, facts have no place in this campaign. Wanna know another fact. The Clintons are finally getting to know how a Republican is treated by the media. Shall we now talk about Broom Hillary's huge posterior (puke). It is larger than Obama's ears, but not by much.

Let's hear from a real leader

To me it's a real toss-up as to who the worst president of the U.S. has been. For all the scandals and all the lieing and all the cheating that went on during the Clinton administration, I still think Jimmie Carter was the worst.
Carter sees superdelegates prompting Clinton to quit; May 25, 2008; Rueters/
Things were so bad under the Carter administration that they used a new index to measure the economy called the "misery index". And Jimmie Carter is just as miserable now as he was then.
Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter said on Sunday he expects Democratic superdelegates to reveal their choice for presidential nominee soon after the final primary in June and that Hillary Clinton will then have to quit the race.
Ol' Jimmah there thinks that the race is over even though no one has crossed the finish line.
In an interview with Sky News, Carter said he did not think Clinton was achieving anything by staying in the fight.

"I think not. But of course she has the perfect right to do so," he said while attending a literary festival in Britain.
Spoken by the man who lost in the second worst landslide election in presidential history (next to Walter Mondale). He recognized when he lost, but at that time, Reagan was already at the finish line when he didn't even know the race had begun.
According to estimates by MSNBC, Obama now has 1,954 while Clinton has 1,783. There are 86 delegates left to be chosen in the state-by-state contests.
While all that may be true, the real FACT is, neither one can mathematically end this thing before the convention. To put it simply for all you liberals, neither has enough to cross the finish line. But as I said earlier, facts don't matter in this campaign. These facts must demur to Obama's ears too.

The importance of Memorial Day

You need to remember those who served, but just as important, WHY they served.
China, Russia condemn US missile defense plans; By VLADIMIR ISACHENKOV, Associated Press Writer Fri May 23, 2008
You wanna talk about `real` liberals, then let's look at the Chicoms and the Ruskies.
China and Russia sharply condemned U.S. missile defense plans Friday, taking a harder common line that reinforces an already strong strategic partnership during Dmitry Medvedev's first foreign trip as Russian president.
First of all please understand that liberalism = socialism. What these two socialist countries remember is Ronald Wilson Reagan. Why do they remember him? He totally defeated them.
Rivals throughout much of the Cold War, Moscow and Beijing have forged close political and military ties since the Soviet collapse, seeking to counter the perceived U.S. global domination. They have spoken against the U.S. missile defense plans in the past, but Friday's declaration by Medvedev and Chinese President Hu Jintao sounded tougher than before.
To a liberal, it's just not fair to protect yourself.
Without naming the United States, the two leaders said that "the creation of global missile defense systems and their deployment in some regions of the world ... does not help to maintain strategic balance and stability and hampers international efforts in arms control and nuclear nonproliferation."
Right. Don't do anything to upset the strategic balance now. Especially their balance. However, had they had the upper hand in this one, do you think anything would be spoken about balance?
They also warned against the deployment of arms in space ? another clear reference to the United States. "The parties stand for the peaceful use of space and against the deployment of weapons in space and arms race in space," Medvedev and Hu said in the statement released after an afternoon of talks.
Ah yes, they do remember Ronald Wilson Reagan and his Star Wars Defense Initiative. That's what broke them down 25 years ago. Do you really want Barrack Hussein Obama taking over the task here? These commies are tricky. They just might put on a Mickey Mouse hat at the negotiating table and really change the strategic balance.
