You still with me? Well, I will deviate from the real political side of things this week and focus on the intellect of today's liberals. If these are the great minds, thinkers and leaders of the world today you may want to step back and re-evaluate your sanity.

I actually thought this was a joke when I first saw it. Turns out I was fooled all right.

You have to admire the creativity of the liberal mindset, even though it has absolutely no logic.
A New Jersey couple, whose son was struck in the chest with a line drive, is planning to sue the maker of a metal baseball bat used in the game.
Why not sue the ball manufacturer. I mean, aren't they to blame as much as the bat people?
Two years ago, Steven Domalewski was pitching when the ball slammed into his chest and stopped his heart. He was resuscitated but now has brain damage and is severely disabled.
Where is the lawsuit against the glove manufacturer? I mean, wasn't he using a glove? Wasn't the glove too small to protect him?
The family contends metal baseball bats are inherently unsafe for youth games because the ball comes off them much faster than from wooden bats. The lawsuit will also be filed against Little League Baseball and a sporting goods chain that sold the bat.
Where is the lawsuit against Major League Baseball? I mean, don't these kids play the game to become like those heroes on TV? Aren't they the ones who have filled young boys' heads full of dreams to become a professional as much to blame as the others?
In all honesty, it truly is sad that a young boy sustained such an injury. It has to be devastating to all those around him, not to mention to himself and his future. BUT... to sue the bat manufacturer is an equal travesty. Don't be surprised if eventually little league baseball and major league baseball will modify their current equipment to make things more safe. However, I have a hard time seeing multimillion dollar contracts for nurf baseball. Leave it to the liberals though, they won't rest until they have it.

Ever sat in a classroom in your pre-pubescent years and have a teacher tell you to "Wipe that smile off your face!!!"?
A German scientist has proved that people forced to smile and take on-the-job insults suffer more and longer-lasting stress that may harm their health.
Wipe that smile off your face, dammit.
Dieter Zapf of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt studied 4,000 volunteers working in a fake call center. Half were allowed to respond in kind to abuse on the other end of the line while the other half had to suck it up, The Telegraph reports.
Do you think these people have some spare time on their hands here?
He found that those able to answer back had a brief increase in heart rate. Those who could not had stress symptoms that lasted much longer.
"Every time a person is forced to repress his true feelings there are negative consequences," Zapf said. "We are all able to rein in our emotions but it becomes difficult to do this over a protracted period."
Maybe we could turn this over to the liberal lawyer bunch. They might want to sue the people who manufacture laughing gas.
In an interview with the German healthcare magazine Apotheken Umschau, Zapf suggested that people who must keep smiling on the job should get regular breaks to let it out.
Maybe they could have their own private room with rubber walls and tight fitting jackets. Oh, hehe, they already have those. By the way, if you continue to subscribe to this liberal pap, you will eventually end up in there. Along with all the liberal lawyers and scientists.

This one is about as sensical as suing the bat maker.
France is considering a ban on happy hours in bars and on the sale of bottles of vodka and other strong liquor in nightclubs as part of efforts to curb binge drinking among young people, an official said on Monday.
Now let's see here. The article doesn't mention that these young people aren't of legal age. The article doesn't mention that these people might actually might want to do what they want to do. The article doesn't mention that these young people might just want to drink to forget the liberals who set foot into every aspect of their daily life.
"What we have seen in recent years is an increase in alcohol consumption among young people, and in particular an increase in the kinds of behaviour that lead to drunkenness," Apaire told Reuters in a telephone interview.
He said research conducted in 2005 showed about one in four French 17-year-olds reported getting drunk at least three times in the previous 12 months, while one in 10 said they had got drunk 10 times or more.
Gosh 3 times in 12 months. I hate to admit this, these guys are lightweights. And I did more than that when I wasn't yet 17.
Also being considered is a ban on "happy hours", during which bars or nightclubs offer cheaper drinks to try to attract customers earlier in the evening.
Other possible measures could include restricting the sale of vodka, whisky and other high-alcohol-content drinks in nightclubs to glasses, not bottles, and raising the legal age at which people can buy alcoholic drinks to 18.
Under current laws, teenagers aged between 16 and 18 are allowed to buy beer and wine.
Damn, why didn't I grow up in France. I had to wait till I was 21 to buy beer (legally).
"It's a stupid measure," he said, referring to the proposed ban on the sale of bottles of strong liquor in nightclubs.
"People buy bottles when they are in a group because it's cheaper and they can last a long time on a single bottle. Does the government want people to spend their money individually to get wasted on beer instead?" he said.
Or you can adopt the American way and join the rest of the school kids in the parking lot and light up a joint. Ahhh yes, the liberal mind, something in itself to behold.
