And the fun still keeps comin` atcha. These Democraps are in complete disarray. You gotta love this.
Here is a something new to me
I guess there are things I don't know. Here is one of them.
Clinton Says Account of Sniper Fire Was
`Mistake'; By Lorraine Woellert and Kristin
Jensen; Mar 25, 2008; Bloomberg.com
I guess I may be mistaken, a witch is human, but I didn't really think the BroomLady was human. She is just about the most "inhuman" thing I've ever run across.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her staff said she misspoke when saying she landed under sniper fire during a March 1996 trip to Bosnia as first lady.
(Gasp! Gasp!) A little faux pau I guess. A Clinton actually said something untrue.
``I did make a mistake in talking about it the last time, and recently,'' Clinton told reporters in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. ``I made a mistake. I have a different memory. That happens. I'm human. For some people that's a revelation.''
Hillary RobThem Clinton is human!!!?? I honestly don't believe it.
During a speech last week in Washington, she said, ``I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.''
The day's events are at issue because campaign rival Barack Obama is using competing versions of the event to question whether Clinton is exaggerating her experience. Today, the Obama campaign released four examples of Clinton describing landing under sniper fire in Bosnia. In a radio interview on Pittsburgh radio station KDKA, Clinton said, ``for the first time in 12 or so years I misspoke.''
Exaggering her experience? What experience? She was the wife of the second most failed presidency in history (by the way, Billie-bob ought to thank Carter or he would have been the worst). Think one ought to question your experience as well, Barry.
`Lighten Up'
She played down that comment later, telling reporters, ``I was joking, gosh, lighten up guys.''
Ever notice when a Clinton, or any other Democrap gets caught in a lie, they say they "were joking". The second most used deflection they use is "I was tired when I said that" Unless you're Algore and say you were on a pee break because of too much iced tea injestion.
Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson yesterday told reporters on a conference call that she had described the situation before in the correct way, including in her book. He also said that she misspoke last week during the speech on the Iraq War at George Washington University.
I love these people. She said it the correct way in her book. I wonder if she said it correctly in her book when she claimed she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary when he made his climb 5 years after she was born?
When asked whether it raised questions about Clinton's veracity, campaign spokesman Phil Singer said she can be counted on to keep her word.
``You can count on Senator Clinton when she says she's going to end the war in Iraq,'' Singer said. ``She has amassed a record over her 35 years of public life of doing the things she says.''
You can count on one thing. When Hillary Robthem Clinton says she wants your nads, she will get them. Any other promises are subject to exhaustion and/or joking. You can count on that.
If you believe this story, I have a bridge in Brooklyn you might be interested in buying
I know from what I speak on this one. Trust me, I put my time "in-country".
Britain is world's 7th most stable and prosperous nation; Michael Evans, Defence Editor; From The Times (London) March 25, 2008
This is typical liberal pap. I just have to go on record with this story.
The United Kingdom has been ranked as one of the most stable and prosperous countries in the world, beating the United States, France and even Switzerland in a global assessment of every nation's achievements and standards.
Unless things have changed drastically in the last 10 years, I want to throw up on that claim.
A one-year investigation and analysis of 235 countries and dependent territories has put the UK joint seventh in the premier league of nations. The top ten comprise also the Vatican, Sweden, Luxembourg, Monaco, Gibraltar, San Marino, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands and the Irish Republic.
Look at those liberal meccas there. The Vatican? Probably the most wealthy nation on earth, hundreds and hundreds of millions of faithful tossing in their money to the coffers there (tax free I might add). The only constituents in this thriving economic giant are a few cardinals, nuns, and some guy carrying a staff in purple garb.
Sweden? Yeah, you can't get any more socialist than that, unless you toss in the Netherlands. Oh, hehe, they're on the list.
Then you have Monaco (you can't live there unless you show gazillions in assets), and San Marino (a tax haven for the Italians).
The US lies 22nd and Switzerland, normally associated with wealth and untouchable stability, is rated 17th, losing points in the assessment of its social achievements.
You see the answer? It's plainly and openly stated why the U.S. is down on the list. What do you mean Eye? You just don't want to admit the U.S. sucks. I guess maybe not all of you see it. Read the last 5 words, that tells everything you need to know, and concentrate on the last two -- "SOCIAL ACHIEVEMENTS". All these other places rank high because of social achievements. Read it for what it is, socialism. I lived in the great enclave of Europe for 8 plus years. Believe me when I say they have social achievements. Problem is, if you have economic achievements living there, you pay for all those social achievements.
