The primaries are still going on, however they have thinned out some. To me, they haven't quite thinned out enough. Anyone want to tell Huckabee to drop out. (Shhhh, he's running for McCain's VP selection) That would at least make a clear cut choice between a liberal -- McCain, and a conservative -- Romney.
It worked so well before, so let's do it again...
A couple weeks again, BroomRider shed a tear during an interview. It worked so well, she won New Hampshire. So.....
Clinton Reunites With Legal Colleague; Feb 4, 2008; By BETH FOUHY; AP
Isn't that nice, a little reunion. Of course this was totally unplanned.
Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton had an emotional reunion Monday with a colleague from the early days of her legal career as a child advocate. The moment came as she revisited her law school days while hosting a campaign event at the Yale Child Study Center where she first pursued her interest in child advocacy.
Penn Rhodeen, a New Haven public interest lawyer who worked with Clinton as a student, recalled her showing up on his doorstep wearing purple bellbottoms.
What? No pant suit?
"It was so 1972," he recalled, praising
Clinton
for her longtime interest in helping
children.
Awwww, even in 1972 it was "for the children".
"Here is the abiding truth we know - you have always been a champion for children. Welcome home, dear friend. We are so proud of you," he said.
(choking back a tear) My heart bleeds a little bit here as well. (blubbering now)
"I said I would not tear up. Already we're not on that path," Clinton replied to laughs.
(forcing a grin) There, there, I feel a little better now.
Generally a stalwart campaigner, Clinton was showing signs of strain Monday - at one point starting to cough uncontrollably in the middle of an economic round-table with a dozen women voters.
"It comes and goes," she said, sipping water to get her cough under control.
Gosh, I hope she is all right. Why is that Eye? Why is that? You are being cynical again.
No I'm not. Not at all. I truly hope she is all right. I just might be voting for her. Eye, you are such a damn cad. Say what you mean.
No really, I just might be voting for her. Honest Injun.
Eye, what are you talking about?????
Look at who the front runner is of the Republican party -- John McCain. What is John McCain? A top-notch (of the highest order) liberal. There is no difference between him and Broomer and Barack Hussein Obama. They are all full-fledged liberals. If I am forced to vote for a liberal, I want a proper liberal. Not one that is hiding behind a GOP moniker. Simply speaking, if McCain gets the nomination I would then cast my ballot for the Broom Lady or the Magic Negro, whoever gets the democratic nomination. If a liberal is going to destroy everything by raising taxes, opening the borders and giving amnesty, limiting free speech, and appointing liberal judges to the bench, then let it be a democrat liberal, or conservative republicans will be blamed for this mess until the end of time. Think I'm paranoid? No, look at the blame for civil rights. The democrats blame republicans for racism, but it was the republicans in the house who got the civil rights act passed in 1964. Johnson signed it and they have been taking the credit for it ever since.
See you at the polls, I'll be the jackass lookalike of the democrat mascot. Too bad my ears are bigger.
