Have you been following the primaries? Hope so, they're getting vicious. As stated before the Iowa caucuses, this will be the dirtiest presidential campaign ever. Take my word for it, it will be that and more. And it ain't even started yet.
All for the love of a woman (super hurl!)
I have seen a lot of disinformation. I have seen a lot of lies. I have seen a lot of bullshit in my lifetime but this is right up there amongst the top 5.
Love drove Bill over campaign line; Jan 27, 2008; AFP/Breitbart.com
Ok, now that all of you have picked yourself up off the floor after reading that headline we can look at the substance (or lack of) that the French press is trying to make.
Hillary Clinton admitted Sunday her husband Bill's hard-charging campaign tactics had gone overboard, but chalked the ex-president's fiery broadsides up to love and a chronic lack of sleep.
I know, I know. I don't write this crap, just put it for you to see.
A day after rival Barack Obama trounced her in the South Carolina primary, the former first lady also mounted a vigorous defense of the two Clinton White House terms, which Obama has said did not spark transformational change.
The inevitable candidate got her head handed to her. Someone has to defend the Clinton white house terms. You have to wonder what he did in 8 years. He certainly didn't fix anything. He raised taxes to their highest levels since WW2. He armed the North Koreans with neuclear weapons. He was the first "elected" president to be impeached. He got a lotta action in the oval office.
"You know, my husband has such a great commitment to me and to my campaign," the New York senator said.
"He loves me just like, you know, husbands and wives get out there and work on each others' behalf."
She blamed the tensions of the tight battle for the party's presidential nomination
Does this tripe need any commentary? Not really, but it is hilariously funny. You know what I like about this evil duo? They always have someone to blame. But never themselves.
Clinton said her husband would remain a premier member of her campaign team as she heads into 22 critical nominating contests on "Super Tuesday" February 5, though it was unsure if the ex-president's campaign style would change.
Why is that Eye? Why is that? Aren't you worried about his ability to draw voters? Hehe, nope. His track record for backing candidates is totally devoid of any winners. Most candidates shun his attempts for support. But then, the smartest woman on the planet knows best. Well maybe she does know. Without him, she loses even bigger.
Wait until the gloves come off
One thing the young black guy needs to learn is just exactly who he is dealing with. He may have come up against some foes in his lifetime (but not many), but he is dealing with the devil here, and he doesn't even know it (yet).
'Yes We Can!' Obama Beats Clinton in S.C. Primary; By JENNIFER PARKER; Jan. 26, 2008; ABCnews.com
The naivete might end up destroying Obama. That is unless the evil-duo doesn't destroy him first. You will need to excuse the language here, but I am going to quote the ex-Erectus President here, "I take care of my friends and I fuck my enemies". Don't kid yourself here. For once he is speaking the truth.
Sen. Barack Obama, vying to become the nation's first black president, has won the South Carolina primary today, boosted by a record turnout of African-American voters.
Again you must know that the Clintons have an excuse --- record turnout of African-American voters. You don't expect Obama to win fairly now, do you?
Obama overwhelmingly beat Sen. Hillary Clinton with 55 percent support to her 27 percent, and former Sen. John Edwards, trailing with 18 percent support, with almost all preccints reporting.
A thrashing is right, but this story is not quite finished.
This is the second win in the nomination battle for Obama, who won the Iowa caucuses earlier this month, but this is his first win in a state with a sizable African-American population.
Just what is that comment all about? The guy wins Iowa, unexpectedly. Can't say blacks swung that state for him. He almost won Nevada, however he did pick up more delegates than the Broom Lady. Here again not a Mecca (no pun intended) for black population. However, in a state where there are a lot of black voters, there might be some expectations that he would do well. So why did ABC even draw this point out?
Obama won the support of 78 percent of black voters, compared with 19 percent for Hillary Clinton and just two percent for John Edwards. Whites, meanwhile, divided more closely among the three candidates, though Obama notably failed to attract more than a quarter of their votes, reports Langer. Clinton and Edwards were even among whites, with Clinton winning white women, Edwards, white men.
Only in the minds of the liberal media would that be swept aside. Obama failed to get MORE than 25% of the white vote. The fact is, he got 25% of the white vote (not more than) which is very significant. I can't believe the analysis here. If the black vote were so overwhelmingly significant for Obama, then why isn't that same the white vote for Broomrider significant? It could be reported that "Obama even got 25% of the white vote against 2 white candidates running against him". Three if you include Billie-bob in the race.
Behind the scenes, Clinton's campaign sent out a memo to reporters that tried to minimize the impact of the South Carolina contest.
"Regardless of today's outcome, the race quickly shifts to Florida, where hundreds of thousands of Democrats turn out to vote Tuesday," wrote Clinton Communications Director Howard Wolfson.
Watch your back Barry or you ain't gonna know what hitcha. The gloves are off now and it's time for the sleaze machine to do some damage control. Count on it. Don't say haven't been warned.
