Q. What type of projects or programs can Granite Management handle for us?
A. We can help with a wide variety of business challenges and opportunities. Overall, if you need to grow revenues within the existing scope of your organization - or if you want to increase that scope - give us a call. We will let you know right away if your requirement is something that we can handle.
Is there a charge for the initial consultation?
A. No. We do not charge anything to talk to you about your ideas or challenges, to review your business case, or to analyze whether or not we are in a position to help. We only start charging fees or commissions after we come to an agreement on the task, the assignment and the solution.
Q. How do you charge for your services?
A. Basically, there are two methods of compensation that are used. For many projects, we are paid a percentage of the "transactions" we generate for an organization (so, we don't get paid unless we generate business).
In other cases, where we aren't involved in directly producing measurable sales, we are paid on a hourly basis. Examples of this type of assignment would be Business Plan Development, Website Design and Event Planning.
In some cases, but not all, we require a retainer prior to the commencement of a project. Depending on the requirements of an assignment, we may also stipulate the nedd for reimbursement for travel costs, materials or other disbursements.
Q. How much lead time do we need to get Granite to take on an assignment?
A. This, of course, depends on the type and scope of the assignment. It also depends on Granite's prior committments to its other clients. We will always attempt to accomodate a clients needs to have us handle a new assignment, but we will never compromise on the quality of the work we are doing on existing contracts (by stretching ourselves too thin). So, our best advice is to contact us as soon as you can.
Q. I think I have (or my Company has) the skills or experience to help Granite Management with some of its contracts. Are you looking for people to work on some of your client's assignments?
A. Yes. We are always in the lookout for people and organizations that can increase the strength of our Network of contractors across North America. If you have experience and/or capacity in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Web Design, Warehousing, Distribution, Franchising, etc., by all means contact us. We will see if there are opportunities for us to work together to better service Granite's clients (or perhaps yours).
