Banana Wobbles Banana Wobbles

1 package (3 ounce) Jell-O� Gelatin, any flavor
1 cup boiling water
� cup cold water
2 medium bananas, cut in half

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and chill until thickened. Place a spoonful of gelatin in each of 3 empty 6 ounce cans. Center banana halves and spoon in remaining gelatin. To unmold, dip to rim in water: puncture bottom and lift off can. Cut in slices; garnish with reserved banana. Makes 3 or 4 servings.


Carrot Pudding

1 cup suet (ground and measure after)
1 cup ground carrots or use blender (measure after ground)
1 cup potatoes- ground raw potatoes (measure after ground)
1 cup dates or raisins (chopped)
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt (approximate)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
� teaspoon cloves
� teaspoon nutmeg or mace
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 egg

Grind and measure suet, carrots, and potatoes. Then mix them with sugar, add well beaten egg. Then add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Pour into steamer (or coffee-type cans and cover with foil). Place in large kettle and fill kettle until steamer is half immersed in the water and cover kettle with lid. Steam (in a slow boil) for three hours. Serve hot with a favorite sauce.

Caramel Sauce:
Put 1 cup sugar in heavy skillet and melt, stirring constantly so it won�t burn, until caramelized. Add 1� cups water and stir until melted. Make a thickening with cream and flour (about 2 level tablespoons flour and cream until of consistency to pour). Pour into hot mixture and cook for about 2 minutes. Add a big chunk of butter and a little salt and a teaspoon of vanilla.

Vanilla Sauce:
� cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
� teaspoon salt
2 cups boiling water
4 tablespoons butter
Dash nutmeg
2 teaspoons vanilla

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add boiling water gradually, stirring constantly. Simmer 5 minutes to clear and stir in remaining ingredients.

Caramel Sauce:
1� cups cream
1� cups milk (can use 3 cups half and half instead of milk and cream)
1� cups brown sugar

Put in double boiler with 2 scant tablespoons cornstarch.

Lemon Sauce:
� cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
� teaspoon salt
2 cups boiling water
4 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons lemon juice and grated rind
Dash nutmeg

Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, and lemon rind in saucepan. Add boiling water gradually, stirring constantly. Simmer 5 minutes until clear, stirring in remaining ingredients.

1 small package red jello (raspberry, cherry, strawberry, etc.)
1 small package green jello (lime)

Center Filling:
1 small package lemon jello
1 cup boiling water
1 cup little marshmallows
1 3-ounce package cream cheese
� pint whipping cream
� cup mayonnaise
1 cup crushed pineapple

Make up either red or green jello according to directions and let set in a 9�x 9� pan.
After first layer is set, dissolve lemon jello in 1 cup boiling water, then add marshmallows. Stir until marshmallows are as melted as possible. Then put jello in refrigerator and let it thicken (don�t let it get set). Then add remaining ingredients and add mixture to 9�x13� pan.
When the second layer is set, mix up remaining red or green jello according to package directions and let cool. Then add to pan and let jello set up.


Cranberry Salad

1- 3 ounce package raspberry jello
1- 3 ounce package lemon jello
4 cups hot water or pineapple juice
2 cups raw, fresh cranberries- chopped or ground
1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup finely chopped celery
2 cups diced apples
1 cup sugar
� cup pecans

Combine first three ingredients and let thicken. While jello is setting, combine cranberries, pineapple, celery, apples, sugar, and pecans. Add mixture and let stand.

Dressing: Combine � cup mayonnaise and � cup sour cream.

1 package (3 ounce) Jell-O� Gelatin, any flavor
1 cup boiling water
� cup cold water
Birds Eye� Cool Whip� Non-Dairy Whipped Topping, thawed
1 small (10� ounce) pound cake, cut into 24 thin slices

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and pour into 9-inch square pan. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Cut into 12 rectangles. Spread whipped topping on cake slices. Top half the slices with a gelatin rectangle. Then add remaining cake slices. Makes 12 servings.


Fruit Flavor Pops Fruit Flavor Pops

1 package (3 ounce) Jell-O� Gelatin, any flavor
� cup sugar
2 cup boiling water
2 cup cold water

Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Add cold water. Pour into paper cups or pop molds. Freeze until almost firm, about 2 hours. Insert wooden spoons or Popsicle sticks. Freeze until firm, at least 8 hours or overnight. Makes about 4 cups or 8 or 9 large pops.

1 package (3 ounce) Jell-O� Gelatin, any flavor
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
Vanilla ice cream
Candies, cookie, and marshmallow

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and pour into individual dessert dishes. Chill until firm, about 2 hours. Top each serving with a scoop of ice cream. Decorate with candies to make a face. Secure a marshmallow and a flat cookie with a wooden pick for a hat. Makes 4 servings.

1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O� Chocolate Pudding and Pie Filling
2 cups milk
1 pint vanilla ice cream

Prepare pudding mix with milk as directed on package for pudding. Immediately pour hot pudding into shallow dessert dishes. Top with scoops of ice cream and serve at once. Makes 6 servings.


Lemon Peach Meringue Pudding

Arrange drained, canned cling peach halves, cup side up, over lemon pudding in baking dish. Swirl meringue over peaches. Brown quickly in hot oven.

1 package (3 ounce) Jell-O� Orange Gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold milk
1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O� Vanilla Instant Pudding and Pie Filling

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water and let cool. Prepare pudding mix with 1 cup milk as directed on package, beating until blended, about 1 minute. Blend into cooled gelatin. Chill until slightly thickened. Then beat with hand beater or electric mixer until thick and fluffy. Pour into individual dessert dishes. Chill until set, about 1 hour. Garnish with chocolate chips or candies, if desired. Makes about 2� cups or 4 servings.


Pastel Shakes Pastel Shakes

1 tablespoon Jell-O� Gelatin, any flavor
1 cup milk
1 scoop (� cup) vanilla ice cream

Place all ingredients in container of electric blender. Blend well. Pour into a tall glass. Makes 1 serving.


Peachy Pudding Peachy Pudding

1 can (8� ounce) sliced peaches
Cold milk
1 package (4-serving-size) Jell-O� Instant Pudding and Pie Filling, any flavor

Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Add cold milk to make two cups. Prepare pudding mix as directed on package for pudding, substituting measured liquid for the milk. Quickly fold in peaches and spoon into serving dishes. Chill. Garnish with additional peach slices, if desired. Makes about 2� cups or 5 servings.


Peanut Butter & Jelly Parfait Peanut Butter & Jelly Parfait

2 cups cold milk
2-3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O� Vanilla Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
� teaspoon water
� cup raspberry or strawberry preserves

Gradually beat milk into peanut butter in a small bowl. Add pudding mix and beat slowly with hand beater or at lowest speed of electric mixer until well blended, about 2 minutes. Stir water into preserves and layer with pudding mixture in parfait glasses. Garnish with prepared whipped topping and chopped peanuts, if desired. Chill. Makes 2 cups or 4 servings.


Pinstriped Parfait Pinstriped Parfait

1 package (3 ounce) Jell-O� Cherry, Strawberry, or Raspberry Gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
Milk, light cream, half and half

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and pour into parfait glasses to within one inch of top. Chill until firm, about 3 hours. Pour milk over gelatin. Poke a drinking straw around outside and through center of gelatin, allowing milk to settle into the tunnels. Makes 4 servings.


Puddin' Cones PuddinCones

1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O� Vanilla or Chocolate Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
1� cups milk
1 cup prepared Dream Whip� Whipped Topping
5 small ice cream cones

Prepare pudding mix with milk as directed on package for pudding. Blend in whipped topping and chill. Just before serving, spoon pudding mixture into ice cream cups. Garnish with additional whipped topping and nuts, candies, or maraschino cherries, if desired. Makes about 2� cups or 5 servings.

2 cups thawed BIRDS EYE� COOL WHIP� Non-Dairy Whipped Topping
1 package (4-serving size) JELL-O� Brand Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
2 cups cold milk

Spoon 2 cup whipped topping onto each of six dessert glasses. Using back of spoon, make depression in center and spread topping up sides of glass. Prepare pudding mix with milk as directed on package. Spoon pudding mixture into glasses. Chill. Makes 6 servings.

1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O� Vanilla Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
2 cups milk
Fudge or chocolate sauce
Prepared Dream Whip� Whipped Topping
Chopped nuts
Stemmed maraschino cherries

Prepare pudding mix with milk as directed on package for pudding. Spoon into shallow dessert dishes. Top with sauce, whipped topping, nuts, and cherries. Makes 4 servings.

1� cups cold milk
� cup creamy peanut butter
1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O� Instant Pudding and Pie Filling, any flavor
24 graham crackers or chocolate wafers

Add milk gradually to peanut butter, in a deep, narrow-bottom bowl, blending until smooth. Add pudding mix. Beat slowly with hand beater or at lowest speed of electric mixer until well blended, about 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread filling � inch thick on 12 of the crackers. Top with remaining crackers. Freeze until firm, about three hours. Makes 12 sandwiches.

2 large eggs
� cup sugar
� teaspoon salt
2 cups milk, scalded
2 cups cooked rice
� cup raisins
� cup chopped apples
1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup boiling water
1 cup cola beverage

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cola beverage. Pour into individual glasses. Chill until set, about 2 hours. Makes 2 cups or 4 servings.

3 cups brown sugar
4� cups flour
3 cups raisins
4� teaspoons cinnamon
1� teaspoons nutmeg

4� cups sweet milk


Tutti-Frutti Pudding Tutti-Frutti Pudding

1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O� Pistachio Flavor Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
1� cups cold milk
1 can (8� ounce) crushed pineapple, drained
� miniature marshmallows
2 tablespoons chopped, drained maraschino cherries

Prepare pudding mix with milk as directed on package for pudding. Let stand until set. Fold in remaining ingredients. Spoon into dishes. Chill. Garnish with prepared whipped topping and cherries. If desired. Makes 5 servings.
