Shot from above;
Showing the main exhibition hall surrounded by the modular exhibition halls
of the
five themes of each time period and the circulation elements connecting
them all.
Circulation in the museum would function mainly mechanically, in order to
aid the handicapped to allow human comfort and for a afaster flow to and from
the museum. The latter will decrease the amount of time consumed inside therfore
allowing a more information gaining experience in a shorter time, that would
increase the number of visitors.
Photovoltaic units thus creating clean
andeconomical energy for the whole museum cover all modular exhibition units.
Visiting path starts from the highest point going down to the lowest. Starting
from the South descending to the North, in harmony with the topography
of the site.
The path is exactly oriented South North in respect to the four meridians
as the original axis of the Pyramids and the Sphinx, which dominate the whole
zone.
