G.A.I.N. is the Grand Alpha Isle Neighborhood, located in Alphaville. We are a roleplaying neighborhood that works together to be the best possible playing experience in The Sims Online.
Being a member of G.A.I.N. you can "gain" many things. All "official" role-playing lots in our neighborhood will recieve a webpage with a description and screenshots of your lot and recognition on the G.A.I.N. website. All members will "gain" many friends and relationships and will have a great time doing so. Members of G.A.I.N. will be successful working together instead of "competing". As roleplaying lots, we cannot offer everything to our visitors that most lots would. If another G.A.I.N. member is online, refer your visitors to that lot so we can run our neighborhood together. Discounts and special events are available to G.A.I.N. members along with neighborhood meetings to help everyone get ideas and stay organized in our community.
Anyone is welcomed to join G.A.I.N., but you must meet some certain requirements to become an "official" member of the community. Only lots that "roleplay" (take on a character role and act it out) and fit into one of the categories listed in the menu to the left will be considered an official member. You must also work together in the community to help each other, refer visitors to neighbors lots and get involved with your neighbors. You must also attend at least once a month, the announced neighborhood meetings to stay informed of special neigborhood news and events.
How to Join G.A.I.N.:
Log into Alphaville and look up one of our official neighborhood members listed on our site or click on the area in Alphaville that is starred on the map at the top of this page. Purchase one of the vacant lots in the area of G.A.I.N. or move your existing lot there. In order to become a neighbor, you need to click on your neighborhood label on your property bio and choose "Grand Alpha Isle". Once you have become a neighbor, EMAIL your lot description and any screenshots along with your yahoo id to G.A.I.N. and someone will visit your lot to see if it is "roleplaying". If your lot is roleplaying, you will be added to our official G.A.I.N. member list. |
