Life on 57th Place
Due to circumstances beyond their control, the family was forced to sell their house on Honore St. and move out of the neighborhood.  They bought a similar house at 3536 W 57 Pl and once again the family settled in.  It wasn't Honore St, but we had good neighbors and lots of laughter and good times.  Grandma Russo lived with us for a while and at one time, there was four generations living in the house.

Dad retired from the Chicago Fire Department in 1979.  Never being ones to just sit around and "be retired", Mom and Dad decided their next venture would be a good one.  After one of the worst winters in Chicago history, they decided to relocate to a warmer climate.  After a lot of research, they decided Arkansas was the placee they ought to be.  So they loaded up 3 kids, 1 grandkid, 7 rooms, a basement and a garage full of furniture and "stuff", a 4-room apartment and they moved to Fayetteville.  Arkansas.  Mobile Home Park.  A whole 'nother world.
