Please Don't Drink And Drive

Driving in a car
very late at night
angry at the world
because your day
didn't go just right.
Thought you'd stop off
for just a drink or two
but now you're on a stretcher
wondering what to do.
Because the car you hit
has no survivors
so let this be a lesson
to each and every one.
Please don't drink and drive
because the life you save
may very well be mine.

A Glorious Light

Sing a song
on a rainy day
to make your troubles
go away.
Dance around
in the pouring rain
to wash your troubles
down the drain.
Waiting for the sun
that shines so bright,
to bring us
such a glorious light.

Thank You

Thank you for your kindness
and thank you for your grace.
Thank you for our friendship
and your smiling face.
Thank you for caring
and thank you for sharing
your life
as a teacher,
a mentor,
and a friend!
